Dungeon Crawler Carl

Dungeon Crawler Carl
by DoctorHepa
ONGOING
689 pages

It's the most-watched game show in the galaxy!

In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth--from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds to all the trucks and cars--collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground.

The buildings and all the people inside, they've all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot. A dungeon so enormous, it circles the entire globe.

Only a few dare venture inside. But once you're in, you can't get out. And what's worse, each level has a time limit. You have but days to find a staircase to the next level down, or it's game over. In this game, it's not about your strength or your dexterity. It's about your followers, your views. It's about building an audience and killing those goblins with style.

You can't just survive here. You gotta survive big.

You gotta fight with vigor, with excitement. You gotta make them stand up and cheer. And if you do have that "it" factor, you may just find yourself with a following. That's the only way to truly survive in this game, with the help of the loot boxes dropped upon you by the generous benefactors watching from across the galaxy.

They call it Dungeon Crawler World. But for Carl, it's anything but a game.

We have a Discord! Spoilers abound. I wouldn't venture within unless you're caught up.

This is a work in progress. Editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please, please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. I will attempt to update this regularly.

This is a fantasy novel with a gender-bending body-swapping protagonist. There will be NSFW chapters because it is a gender bender. Those will be marked and I will make it so readers that don't want to read them can skip them. Some other chapters might have a little bit here and there but will be both light and brief.

The Helena Chronicles

The Helena Chronicles
by Scott Edwards

Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human.  However, there are a few key differences.  The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty.  They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations.  They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers.

The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force.  On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith.  The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous.  Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents.  In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration.  Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human.

Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children.  She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from.

Warning:  Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life.  I love my first girl so much!  however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T).  This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

Primacy Online

Primacy Online

This series is in Amazon's Kindle Unlimited, and Amazon's rules for the program require exclusivity so I had to take it down from this site.

Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, and since World War III, wars have been fought inside an MMORPG.

In the chaos following World War III, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection rebuilt Earth's society into a collection of over 500 independent city-states. With alien technology that gave him complete control over the Earth's orbital space, the Patriarch outlawed war, and introduced the Constructed Reality MMORPG Primacy Online. He only allowed the city-states to engage in military conflicts with one another inside of the game. City-state leaders that attempted to ignore Church Canon were destroyed, along with their armies, by the Church's orbital particle cannons. For more than a thousand years, there have been no wars fought on the Earth's soil.

The release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Each city-state will lock 50,000 draftees into cryogenic capsules and upload their minds into a character sheathe in the game. Until the armistice conditions have been reached, they will play Primacy Online in War Mode, with the death of the character sheathes meaning their real deaths, but this time there is a twist to the World War. Every still living perma-banned cheater from Primacy Online will be a special draftee for World War IX. They will be organized into a special contingent in the service of the Church of the Resurrection.

Patrick Armagh is terminally ill. Like a large number of other Primacy Online players, he is afflicted with an incurable nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live and should be exempted from the draft, but five years ago, he was given a permanent ban from Primacy Online for cheating. Along with the other perma-banned cheaters, he will be forced to play Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor in War Mode, but Patrick's actual method of cheating was never discovered.

Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online has deal for Patrick. With her help and his undiscovered cheat, he has the chance to become a virtual God within Primacy Online. When you are already as good as dead, there is nothing better than the chance to spend your last days as a living god.

Infinity would be the greatest achievement of contemporary game development. A new, next-gen VR system, with many games available on startup. Created by many companies working under a single group - Demiurge Forge Incorporated, a well known even if rather eccentric company.

... and then things went downhill. Horribly so. Now playing the game is not a matter of entertainment... but of survival. In one of the most detailed - and sadistically abusive - settings in history of VRMMORPGs.

"When life gives you lemons, you should be grateful that it is only lemons. It could have been AIDS." - Hilda Caligari

Just because life throws you away as worthless does not mean death has the same ideas. The chance to be reborn and live a second life is tempting, assuming you don't get stabbed to death or worse. For a former sociopath experiencing emotions might seem troubling, until the realisation sets in that they are now alone and stranded in a new world in a female body. Of course, alone discounts the distinctly demonic, succubus looking spirit stitched to their soul, who has an uncomfortable love of sharp objects, knives and stabbing things. All of the things.

Gods, demons, and heroes. Standard MMO fare—or so Cerys Collins thought.

As a long-time gamer and guild leader, Cerys has always wondered what it would be like to live in virtual reality. When her guild members convince her to try a new VRMMO, she discovers reality is far more complex than she knew.

Chosen by the gods of another world, Cerys finds herself trapped between warring factions: a tyrannical human empire and an oppressed kingdom of demons. When she discovers her best friend has been dragged into this new world as well, Cerys is forced to choose between saving her friend or looking at the bigger picture.

If Cerys is to be anything more than a pawn in the gods' game, she'll have to leverage everything she's learned on her home world and in past games, before it's too late.

With a cocky incubus king vying for more than her loyalty, her quest won’t be an easy one.
