    1. Re: NaNoWriMo Hype, anyone?

I discovered this only a bit ago, about a month earlier, so I've been polishing a story idea to write about. Now that I'm settled and ready to write a summary, I'll of course join!

    2. Re: Synopsis help- London [ Gin ]

Well its good if you are happy with it :)

    3. Re: Synopsis help- London [ Gin ]

To Oliver Wood, family was everything. Even though they were poor, even though he and his siblings wore shabby and patched clothes, even if they starved for some time, he was always happy. He had no (...)

    4. Re: Long-Winded War Arcs

So discussion topic here, just some wandering thoughts.  Do people like Long-Winded War Arcs? (Or just the stories about wars) in royalroad? They are sometimes thrilling, exciting, and the build-up (...)

    5. Re: Need of feedback on the difference between the first and last chapter.

It's going to be a bit difficult to provide you with helpful feedback for your story. Let's start with the obvious since you yourself have mentioned it in your synopsis: Your writing style changes significantly (...)

    6. Re: Need of feedback on the difference between the first and last chapter.

Well, I am a bit hopeless when it comes to recieving reviews and criticism on my work, simply because most people drop the story from the first chapter and the people who read from there don't love/like/bother/know (...)

    7. Re: Restarted writing a dropped story. Should I rewrite first few chapters, or go on?

Since you dropped it before, I say plow ahead. If you try to rewrite the first chapters, and then edit them to satisfaction there's no guarantee you'll even like the result. Therefore its better to write (...)

    8. Re: Advice to Teenage Writers

I never considered working on short stories or poems, but it seems, strange enough, more useful than I thought. When thinking of a chapter or a part of my story and writing(I'm actually picking the sentences (...)

    9. Re: Why it is hard to gain feedback at the start?

People are a little comment/review shy for smaller works, but you also have to make sure you're getting readers in the first place. That means a good cover, a good description, and an amazing first chapter. (...)

    10. Re: RoyalRoad#101 - Free Reviews each Sunday.

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/20791/six-seals I hope it won't bore you much, thanks my friend.

    11. Re: Why it is hard to gain feedback at the start?

Is it because of the lack of people or care at the start, or is it because the first few readers feel what they read is a trial version and don't try to judge without appropriate  estimation? Either way, (...)

    12. Re: White's Course [Lecture Hall]

I would like to sign up as well, but I'm not too confident about my writing, since the type I'm writing is seen a bit on negative type. And there is the first criteria that my 4th and 5th chapters don't (...)

    13. Re: Restarted writing a dropped story. Should I rewrite first few chapters, or go on?

I've been trying to improve my writing ability for a few months at my last fiction(Six Seals) and wrote it all the way to the chapter 7, then dropped it. After several months, to be exact two months ago, (...)
