“By far, the greatest danger of Artificial Intelligence is that people conclude too early that they understand it.”

—Eliezer Yudkowsky

Hey all, we're moving over to book 2. This content is in a state of transition.

The book is now availble on Amazon (includes extra chapters):

Artificial intelligence was nearly mankind’s last invention. AI took off like a rocket, then when it racked up an impressive death toll, it crashed before it could blossom and took most high-tech industries with it. Resistance and fears became deep-set.

Two decades after the infamous Rev. 4.6 incidents, humanity hasn’t quit dreaming of the wealth and power that could be at their fingertips. A new generation of mega-corporations rose from the ashes. When one melds a quantum computer to a barely functional mental patient as a PR move, there are those who seek to profit, those who want to destroy it, and Alex.

Alex Sage is a typical college student trying to keep up his grades and maybe find a meaningful connection with the fairer sex. Then, an automated semi crashes into his home, killing his family and turning his head into a pin cushion in the process.

Alex awakens to find most of his memories gone and an illegal AI hidden in his brain implant. Now the pet project of a tech billionaire and heavily in debt, Alex struggles to stay valuable enough to be kept online. Still grappling with the repercussions of his injuries, and threats from a dangerous anti-augmentation political movement, there are no easy answers and threats loom around every corner. Alex must use whatever resources he can to escape from under the thumb of a ruthless corporation, while keeping those he comes to love safe.

  • Chapters will stay up on RRL until Aug 10. It'll go up on Kindle Unlimited after that.
  • How do you get those extra chapters I didn't have planned for RR? If you want them, they'll be in the published book. Book 2 will still make sense without them - I made sure of that.
  • But... isn't $3 a lot for extra chapters? Think of it as tipping me for a good job and you'd also be getting my eternal thanks. If you enjoyed it so much that the idea of missing out a few chapters haunts you, I did my job as an author and made an engaging story.
  • What's in those extra chapters? Resolving a few issues, set up for the cybernetic revolution, a rather intense sex scene with a new partner, revelations of who's really pulling strings, and a bit of set up for book 2.
  • Complaints that people missed out on it when it was published here won't help (sorry!). I posted this for the folks who helped me shape the book, which is you all! (Again, yay!)
  • But... Why! Why not keep it all on RR forever? My editor likes being paid for one. For two, I'd like the ability to get broader readership. If I break even on editor costs, I'll be incredibly happy.

What about book 2?

  • Drafts for Book 2 will go up around Sept 10.
  • My draft of Book 2 is done, and it will be handed to the editor once Book 1 is published. Feedback has been even more positive. Beta readers devoured it and wanted more.
  • I'll add a link to Book 2 once it's up on RR. I'm more or less, using you all for Beta Readers, so you get it before it's "canon" and edited. I invite active and meaningful feedback during this process. In return, you get early access to chapters. That does mean that the book content or plot might be adjusted before it gets published as I refine it.
  • Sex Y/N? Yes. I heard the feedback, 90% wanted it explicit. You all will get the "full" experience.
  • Will I dump all of book 2 here? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. At a minimum, it'll be up to the 75% mark as we collect feedback, much like what I did with book 1. It really depends on how good the feedback is and how nice people are. Lots of support + meaningful feedback to make it better = higher likelihood you get all the book.
  • Will be it up here indefinitely? No, it'll probably go up on KU at some point, but I'll make sure there's enough time for a large readership to grab it here. Then we move to book 3 which already is around 60K words already.

What about other adventures in the same universe/characters?

  • Yep. Absolutely. Nothing ready to share yet though. I plan to keep those side chapters and more slice of life stories as RR exclusive. Since I'm carving this off in book-sized segments, I'll have to figure out where those disconnected story arcs belong. I'm open to suggestions.

Ever been a god? Well, I was!

Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea.

Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing.

Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! Or so I hope?

Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books

Author's Comment:

It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it.

Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series.

So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever.

And now the disclaimer everyone knows:

I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (

Julius Goldforge knows how the world works. He knows his role. Really, it's destiny by this point.

The mentor dies, the hero gains motivation, and the demon lord falls to their blade.

Except...something's clearly gone wrong here.

Written by Redknight3996 and Indismile, The Demon Lord's Lover is a fantasy comedy/romance featuring a jaded, middle-aged adventurer who's damn sure he's going to die on this new journey with his students and the ambitious Empress of the Dark Lands, whose drive to conquer the entire world winds up putting both him and her on a bizarre course of attraction and impulsive decision making.

Includes (but is not limited to): action, adventure, big fights, elemental-themed temples, demons, angels, fumbling romance, competence, incompetence, nudist druids, the crimes of the past influencing the current age in myriad ways, interpersonal issues, fatalism, and being a decent uncle to one's adoptive family.

(We've also got a discord~!

Just imagine a world in which the gods have to answer your prayers. You might think that such a world should be a paradise, but would all-powerful beings really be pleased about being teleported out of the shower?

This is the direct Prequel to Until Death.

On a fated day, Seth ran into an old acquaintance, his childhood friend. There was a slight problem, though. The once small and cute girl turned into a tempting beauty and thanks to some misfortune, she was forced to find new lodging. Being a gentleman, Seth offered the empty room in his family house.

What the girl didn't know was that Seth was the incarnation of a god, the Egyptian god of sex and 'creator of all things', Khem. Although he was a very conservative person, not even he could resist the girl's tempting body, which finally unlocked his slumbering potential. The nobles in the city wanted the girl for themselves since she was a talented magician, but little did they know that the world was more than the city they lived in. Meeting one threat after the other, Seth was forced to leave his cover and come out of hiding.

Naturally, he wasn't the only god incarnation around.

(AN:\\I warn everyone in advance. This is a rather light-hearted story with quite a lot of 18+ scenes in it. If that's a turn-off for you, you're probably better off not reading this novel. The same goes if you're a highly religious person because you'll probably find yourself offended. This novel is mainly about the lead couple and if you liked my first novel, you're likely to enjoy this one as well.)

Surprisingly, in the fantasy LitRPG genre.

A girls death forms the foundation for a plan centuries in the making. But when she shakes off their control, and forces the plans of beings millenia old to change, can she avoid being tied up as a loose end? With only what she could take with her in her mind, and a new body with surprising depths, she begins her new life in a world unlike her own.

This is my first writing project in almost a decade, so there is going to be a lot of improvements from me as I shake off the rust. And of course, as the world I'm creating comes to life! So if you like the concept, please bear with me, and hopefully I'll reach the high standards I know you have.

Edit (04/04/2018):

Witness the power of my complete lack of any artistic talent! There is now cover art for this fiction. Its just barely better than the default, but hey, minimalism is in, right?

After being kicked out of the orphanage due to turning 15, Lino finds himself stranded on the streets. With motivation to become the best blacksmith in the world, he seeks to become a disciple of the Bridge Village's best blacksmiths, only to be kicked out of all of them. He soon finds himself roaming the streets aimlessly on an empty stomach, jobless, peniless and homeless. After hiding himself in an alley when night fell, the reality finally catches up to him - he was truly alone.

Yet, morning come, he is greeted by a knee of an old man who, after beating him for sleeping in the old man's 'backyard', takes him in. Finally being given a helping hand, he clutches tightly onto it, becoming the old man's disciple and learning the ways of the crafting, naturally while flirting with the old man's wife in his free time.

Little did he know that this encounter would spark an adventure that would take him to the heights he never believed even existed, and would let him meet people he'd only read about in the books. It's a story of Lino - an orphaned child who would come to be known by many names, but only one that he'd ever truly accept: Empyrean Blacksmith.

[This story is complete and properly concluded]

Now that monster-people have revealed themselves to the world of mankind, Japan is looking for Interspecies Exchange Program hosts. Yuisu didn't really have a plan in mind when she applied to be one. A letter arrived asking for participants and she filled out the form on a whim.

She definitely wasn't thinking of beautiful monster girls when she decided to apply. Okay, perhaps she was thinking of them a little bit. Or a lot... She got the nickname Yuri-su in high school for a reason, after all.

Based on the Monster Musume manga by Okayado, using characters and art from the now-defunct Monster Musume Online game as well as original characters.

Sexual content note: While sexual acts occassionally do occur on screen, there is no explicitly detailed sex in this series.

I'm sure you've heard the stories. I'm sure you thought them right and true as well.

Well, they're wrong. The legends lie. So much has happened, and so much can still come about. The story is not over, nor is my life ended. I'm still here. Waiting. Thinking. Planning. I cannot do much else, unfortunately.

But, the day I am released is the day the legend begins anew.

I simply won't be the main character this time.

This is a semi-sequel of another series of mine, Divine Bladesmith

However, it is not necessary to read that one at all. Divinity Reforged works as a stand-alone piece, and requires no prior reading. In fact, think of this series as being a revisiting of that story's world.

For those that have read Divine Bladesmith, know that anything and everything could have changed. Don't worry though, some elements remain the same.

I just won't say which ones.
