My name is Alfonse, I was raised as an orphan and became a soldier for a long time before they tried to get rid of me. I somehow gained my consciousness in the last moment to realize I was on the brink of death.

I made a deal with a deity and the deity saved me in exchange for something I had to provide once I became stronger.

I woke up from my sleep and the world of democracy and technology disappeared. What I found was a world full of magic creatures and magic powers where the strong is valued over the weak.

I wanted to survive the calamity that befell earth and to know who my savior is, and to do that, I had to be stronger.

Little did I know that my body is entirely different from the normal people and my way of getting stronger is a mystery.
