      Just a wild chapter 1 drive-by assault, nice.  https://media.tenor.com/KMxrZ-A6ev4AAAAM/nice-smack.gif

    2. Re: Sudden Boost in Views!

Well done. Those are the small things that keep us going!

    3. Re: Random dip in views?

Views on your first chapter is people reading a bit, and see whether they like it or not. A drop of 30-70% at your second/third chapter is normal. Take it like you would read a book in the bookstore and (...)

    4. Re: Starting over

Most big books have undergone rewrites, so it's perfectly fine to do it if you find your story went awry somewhere. I'd just let your readers know.

    5. Re: I am looking for epic fantasy, something that will make me feel strong emotions.

Hi guys. I really want to read a medieval fantasy story with magic and swords and epic battles. Wars, battles, politics, camaraderie, *fallen allies, betrayal, triumph and all that stuff. Preferably I (...)

    6. Re: Boost Your Novel's Views with a Professional Review - 5k Views and Above!

What makes it a professional review? Some definitions of "professional" is just getting paid to do what you do, doesn't have to even be competent.  :FancyDrakan: Can you be a professional child  :DrakanThinking: (...)

    7. Re: How to Survive Negative Feedback

English is an ongoing battle A brave undertaking.

    8. Re: How fast can you type and how did you get there?

I did a quick test online, and without trying that hard, I got 68 WPM. Not bad, imo, but also nothing extraordinary. Just millennial things of growing up online and behind a computer.

    9. Re: 1 Year since the first chapter! 🎂

Commendable dedication, I would only hope to have that much strength of character. Well done!

    10. Re: I am no longer out of ideas, just stuck, about 548 words in

Worth thinking about.  400-600 words, according to his latest update, is only a third of an average chapter in RR. A story is roughly a hundred chapters. If the OP is out of ideas before half of a single (...)

    11. Re: I'm already out of ideas only 400 words in

It sounds to me like you're not ready for writing. The words should be pouring out from you in the beginning. I'd walk away and try something else.

    12. Re: Anyone else plagued by the feeling of your writing being “never good enough?”

I think this is just a part of being an author. Can't get rid of it. And you wouldn't even want to get rid of it, keeps you straight and critical of your work.

    13. Re: Does the author have an obligation to finish his story?

I would also take that as a hint that maybe I need to rework and fix the story, or the writing style.  While I agree with most of your post, this is what stuck out to me as the most important. Definitely (...)

    14. Re: Does the author have an obligation to finish his story?

snip Working for a year/years to finish a book for only 50 likes is peak folly. There has to be something given back by the readers to make it worthwhile, otherwise even discipline runs out.

    15. Re: Funniest/Weirdest/Cringiest Chapter Titles you've Released with?

Mine probably is  The renascence of a man. Just so pretentious.   :DrakanNo:

    16. Re: ChatGPT and why you, dear Authors, won't be replaced by it

... dear Authors, won't be replaced by it yet *  AI grows with such speed that we cannot even predict how everything will change because of it.  Last I checked, strong AI wasn't an actual thing. (...)

    17. Re: I want to review/rate your stuff (~50 followers and below)

I'll throw my hat into the ring.  It doesn't have to be a review, but just an honest opinion about my work. Could be comments, DM or what ever you feel is fitting. I'm just having very little engagement (...)
