After escaping the haunted shell of the Hindenburg, Tes, Holly, and Aurora find themselves in the middle of a scorched plains on a different planet three-thousand years in the future. With the aid of Sola, one of the underground survivors in Omega Centauri, they hope to make it back home while avoiding the grasp of the galvaknights: sound- and heat-detecting robots ready to tear them limb from limb.

Sometime after the events of Luna on the Run, Luna and her mechanical cat Freckles have taken up the role of vigilantism in Carmsborough, looking to rid it of the mob boss Bijabers' influence. Despite her noble cause, her unconventional ways and distressed morals bring her many opponents, like S6, a secret American government organization, and the other vigilante duo of Carmsborough: Orion and the Clockwork. Now Luna must race the clock and remain anonymous while cleaning up the streets of Carmsborough under her threatening new alias: The Blood Moon Pirate.

The Blood Moon Pirate is a short story with ten chapters that will release once a month on the last day of the month, beginning in January 2023.

Stranded in the desert, she and her remaining classmates are seeking shelter from the harsh climate when they come across the battered remains of the Hindenburg, an airship that had been lost for nearly two decades. The group takes refuge inside, but when the disembodied sound of sobbing fills the halls, they start to wonder if the haunted ship should've remained lost.

Luna, a homeless teen with skewed morals, and her mechanical cat Freckles embark on an adventure after finding a mysterious tracking device that could lead them to treasure. But when that device turns out to belong to Slaphand, a crime boss with a grip on the housing market in Carmsborough, Luna must save her best friend while coming to terms with her own gray morality.
