Re: Past or present tense.
I use present tense. Therefore, I advise you not to use present tense. It's because I am a fool.

Re: Editing a previously published chapter
Is there an option for authors to control when the notification can reach or not? I think I recall Tapas has that feature..?

Dedicate a song to represent your fiction /novel/story
If you had to choose one song to represent your fictional work (especially on RR), which one would you choose? Mine is Godzilla - Eminem. https://youtu.be/SmBzqkgdH9I It’s for my current novel (...)

Re: What's your MC's name and how did you come up with it?
Jasper Debolt Reardon. I can't remember how I got the other two names, but I certainly remember how I found the name Jasper. In an online chess match, one of my opponents username was Jasper (and some (...)

Re: Why does it seem like most famous authors ignore most writing advice?
Aside from my skewed kidding, I believe these standards are intended to impress editors and publishers. To be honest, I believe that the plot is what matters most to readers. Whether or not your book shines (...)

Re: Why does it seem like most famous authors ignore most writing advice?
It do be like that sometimes.

Re: Numbered Chapters or Chapter Titles?
I usually implement both in chapters. I feel like the title hooks the people who get a glimpse of it on the "update" section on homepage, and the number signifies that it’s a longer story and it’s not (...)

Re: Would you post a negative comment or review?
I'll only drop a negative comment to help out the author. If it doesn’t help, then I won't. And, I would definitely try to be as polite as possible.

Privacy option for a novel
Is there any privacy option for authors to hide their works? It’s similar to "only me" option in Facebook or there is such option available in YouTube as well.

Re: How do RR and the wider web fiction community feel about cliffhangers?
I have no problems with cliffhangers if the update is not slow. If the author is a mad snail like me, then I think readers will get mad and drop the series. Who knows?

Re: Long Chapters (What's the ideal max word count?)
Normally, I write between 1.2 and 1.5 thousand words. It's not that I set out to write within that word restriction; rather, it's where I usually wind up due to the chapter's appropriate conclusion.

Re: Do You Prefer Reading A Story In First or Third Person POV?
I am currently writing one in first person. This one is a first for me.

Re: What little things do you do that makes writing better for you? (I've began working out lmao)
Music is like magic. It helps a lot to set the mood.

Re: Where do your ideas come from?
Daydreaming and inspirations from anything.

Re: How often do you feel frustrated or demotivated?
I feel frustrated when I can no longer write as liberally as I'd used to. With my 9-5 soul draining job - I just end up wanting to just chill on the couch and shut down my brain lol This is relatable! (...)

Re: How many different stories do you work on at at time?
Three to four in general.
