    1. Re: Wendt here! I write g̶o̶o̶d̶ ⠀i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶e̶s̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ⠀passable(?) stories.

Welcome to RR! Trying to write 2k a day is like NaNoWriMo, I can do it but not each day. Also, I'll check out your book. Also to help you can put a signature with each forum post. Head to here: (...)

    3. Re: You all ever feel old?

When I logged in, RR told me I turned six years old today. I wondered if I should feel old because of that but decided against it. If I am based on your post, I'm a babe barely 3 months 👶

    4. Re: Hello! I'm Franki and I like Liches :D

Welcome Franki, may your passion inspire creativity in the marvellous site of fiction. :FancyDrakan:

    5. Re: What’s a piece of common writing advice that you really disagree with?

Firstly, I don't agree with for the advice for writers too spam their story/book on social media. I understand it is a necessary thing to get your work out there but when is it too much.  I got advice (...)

    6. Re: You all ever feel old?

Old? "heheheheeh". I'm old enough to remember when there was NO television. I'm old enough to remember Howdy Doody. I met Gary Gygax before D&D was a big thing. I met Steve Jobs when the Apple II (48K) (...)

    7. Re: I must have hit a cord xD

Alright, so we just took a quick look at it and yeah, there's stuff that stands out. 1: don't use all caps for screaming. An exclamation mark is literally there to denote when a person is yelling. (...)

    8. Re: Tips for getting over writers block

I find going for a walk at dawn, if you can choose a scenic spot. Clearing my mind, breathing in and out then drive into your story (mentally). Record your reflections with a phone or notebook. Another (...)

    9. Re: How legit are non-member views?

I notice that myself with my main story but views are views. I mainly look at reading retention instead, as that reflects the interest of your story. I do admit my more dipping chapters are at 70-80% while (...)

    10. Re: You all ever feel old?

I'm 15, and well, I already feel old ;-;  Bah, you are a young whipper-snapper.

    11. Re: Hi, I'm Rosriel, I write historical fantasy

Well, the premise of my story is a bit... unconventional. I did start in ao3 after all, and the tropes that are in ao3 aren't the same as Royal Road. But please let me know what you think! Will (...)

    12. Re: Hi, I'm Rosriel, I write historical fantasy

Welcome, I do like a bit of historical fiction. My genre is a sub-genre of this, gunpower fantasy or industrial fantasy—the fantasy version of steampunk. So I'll have to check your story out  :DrakanBook: (...)

    13. Re: You all ever feel old?

Like. That sudden feeling of just being in an older generation. Heck, I'm in my forties and still play computer games, watch cartoons and run d&d games. The only thing I haven't kept up with (...)

    15. Re: I must have hit a cord xD

This rate I may just switch it to a female lead and not gender bender jesus *&^#&$^ LOL Please do not do that, it is your story and truck those morons!

    16. Re: I must have hit a cord xD

I mean 20 people viewed my new 3rd person story granted its um different but I generally thought it was not to bad 1 follow 20 views somehow got 2 negative ratings lol those numbers made me laugh I must (...)

    17. Re: Changing the POV

No matter what you do Samuel, you won't mess up multiple POVs as badly as I do so just trust in yourself fam!! I just read your first chapter and I'm going to keep reading. Keep your chin up, (...)

    18. Re: Changing the POV

Now I am wondering if I continue the storyline to 3rd or go back to the original POV. What would you do in my situation? I feel like going from single pov to multiple is an expansion of the story, (...)

    19. Re: Changing the POV

I think switching it to 3rd would be too much effort for not enough gain, 1st person present is perfectly fine :) I do agree going back and changing my first story from 1st to 3rd. I have started (...)

    20. Re: Changing the POV

The incomplete sentences was a creative choice. I know it would rub people the wrong way but my thoughts were 'the story is in his own head and he wouldn't think I am quaffing or I'm shaking my head' (...)
