    2. Re: What makes someone successful on here?

I write fictions in a contemporary setting, and because they're not LitRPG or portal fantasy they don't do well on Royal Road.  :DrakanGlasses:   omg that emote

    3. Re: What book or story inspires your writing the most?

For me, it's always been the inability to find something that I wanted to read. I'm still that middle school girl who stood in her school library and proclaimed, "Fine, I'll just write it." Certainly (...)

    4. Re: What book or story inspires your writing the most?

Phantoms by Dean Koontz. It's an older work but anyone interested in maintaining a creepy and mysterious atmosphere to their work should check it out.  Awesome! thats what ive been looking for!

300 is indeed a nice number. Good job! Still, the next time you post you will lose that sweet, sweet, round number!   :drakansweat: Wait until you see my rank https://i.imgur.com/0RcMiTL.png (...)

    11. Re: Got my first 0.5 rating with no explanation

Enjoy the cake and there might be some punch left. What kind of punch are we talking here? Sounds like its a literal fist punch lol

    12. Re: What book or story inspires your writing the most?

Ha ha. Well, my story called DOTS is based on how H.G.Wells' existential ruminations on religion and metaphysics might have played out if he had spent his last few years writing High School DxD instead (...)

    13. Re: What book or story inspires your writing the most?

    14. Re: What makes someone successful on here?

I do things a bit different, which I think is refreshing to those who're burned out on the same old formula. - Underpowered main characters who have to deal with the world without unique cheat powers, (...)

    15. Re: What makes someone successful on here?

The tags LitRPG, Isekai, Portal Fantasy, Progression, Game-Lit, Vilaneous Lead, Cultivation automatically bring you readers. Whether you are able to keep them or not depends on the quality of the writing, (...)

    16. Re: What makes someone successful on here?

It's a mixture of luck and writing in a style that appeals to short attention spans. Gotta get that dopamine out quickly through low barriers to entry, constantly rising tensions, and whatever tricks (...)
