I like multiple POVs and I think it can really work! However, if I am writing/reading from a first person POV, I usually prefer to keep it as one person or it feels a little more confusing.

For me it was based on the song 'Daydreamer' by David Cassidy which has been one of my favorite songs for years -- plus I'm a notorious daydreamer so it works!
