I usually participate in NaNoWriMo privately. Like, I don't join the web page or use their stupid tools or gush about how great I am in the dick-waving pecker-checking forum post count superiority complex... (...)

Inb4 Nestor curses the world for being new, lol. I mean, it is stupid, but I'm mostly indifferent.  Just picture whatever it is that gets your motor running getting eclipsed by my OVERWHELMING INDIFFERENCE (...)

    3. Re: Pen Names?

One of the first stories I wrote and sold was about a guy that pursued endless knowledge. He didn't care about the cost, he didn't care about the world, he abandoned everything in the search for infinite (...)

    4. Re: What do You Use for Note Taking?

For World- building I use Google Docs. For ideas that might become stories, I use Google Docs. I store my maps in Google Docs.  I do all of my writing in Google Docs.  For meta-knowledge about my world (...)

engish has been a real problem child in terms of rhyme Lead and read rhyme; lead and read rhyme, but lead and read don't rhyme at all.

    7. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Silly ameri-mutts and their baffling "morality".  Hardcore blood, guts, and gore violence is A-OK but heaven forbid a sex scene.

I became the satanic overlord of Florida, Becoming Florida Man is quite altogether a different process than becoming a satanic overlord, Florida Man.

    9. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Beer is great. I stopped drinking a few years back, but I still use it for cooking.

I'll try to participate in the Writathon, but I've been pretty busy lately so I'm a bit concerned that I won't have a good showing.

    11. Re: It's not about writing...

    15. Re: I use MS Word to write with, is there any real advantage to change.

    20. Re: Ancient Attempts At Writing

Twenty or so years ago, when I ran D&D 3.0 and 3.5, I'd throw down a tape recorder and record the sessions I ran. Afterwords, I'd take the audio and turn the in-game stuff into a narrative story that (...)
