    1. Re: WHO IS HYPED FOR WRITATHON?

I usually participate in NaNoWriMo privately. Like, I don't join the web page or use their stupid tools or gush about how great I am in the dick-waving pecker-checking forum post count superiority complex... (...)

    2. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Inb4 Nestor curses the world for being new, lol. I mean, it is stupid, but I'm mostly indifferent.  Just picture whatever it is that gets your motor running getting eclipsed by my OVERWHELMING INDIFFERENCE (...)

    3. Re: Pen Names?

One of the first stories I wrote and sold was about a guy that pursued endless knowledge. He didn't care about the cost, he didn't care about the world, he abandoned everything in the search for infinite (...)

    4. Re: What do You Use for Note Taking?

For World- building I use Google Docs. For ideas that might become stories, I use Google Docs. I store my maps in Google Docs.  I do all of my writing in Google Docs.  For meta-knowledge about my world (...)

    5. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Queen Elizabeth III do prefer Twinings Earl Gray tea with a splash of milk. However, I may mix it up and drink some Darjeeling. >go to England on vacation with some friends >we have to meet at the (...)

    6. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

engish has been a real problem child in terms of rhyme Lead and read rhyme; lead and read rhyme, but lead and read don't rhyme at all.

    7. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Silly ameri-mutts and their baffling "morality".  Hardcore blood, guts, and gore violence is A-OK but heaven forbid a sex scene.

    8. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

I became the satanic overlord of Florida, Becoming Florida Man is quite altogether a different process than becoming a satanic overlord, Florida Man.

    9. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Beer is great. I stopped drinking a few years back, but I still use it for cooking.

    10. Re: WHO IS HYPED FOR WRITATHON?

I'll try to participate in the Writathon, but I've been pretty busy lately so I'm a bit concerned that I won't have a good showing.

    11. Re: It's not about writing...

Oh is this that "sportsball" shit where people get excited about other people playing with balls?

    12. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

Anything that unironically has the word "cringe" is percolated dogshit.  Have some self-respect, people.

    13. Re: Unconventional Inspirations?

      1. Drugs. 2. Music. 3. D&D sessions.  4. Actual historical events.  5. Random pictures off the internet. 6. Dreams and nightmares.  7. Books that are completely unrelated to my genre of choice. (...)

    14. Re: Does anyone write weirdly long things but decide it's too long to post?

Yes.  However,  I usually trim everything down to a few succinct sentences.

    15. Re: I use MS Word to write with, is there any real advantage to change.

I just use Google Docs.  I can start writing at home, drive to work, open up Docs, and keep writing, drive home, keep writing. Google saves everything, and I can open up multiple documents in tabs.

    16. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

I might participate in the usual Writathon. Don't actually know for sure. Already have a lot on my plate.  Thought I could do it last year but there was just too much going on that I ended up not doing (...)

    17. Re: Give me some tips!

Just the tip just for a second, just to see if you like it.

    18. Re: The Fancy Pants Kids of RoyalRoad

I have no problems whatsoever with kids and guns as long as its supervised. First, back in the 1950s and 1960s there were rifle and marksmanship classes and clubs in school. Second, I make working black (...)

    19. Re: Can creatures that have inherently evil instincts be good?

“What is better ? to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort ?” Skyrim

    20. Re: Ancient Attempts At Writing

Twenty or so years ago, when I ran D&D 3.0 and 3.5, I'd throw down a tape recorder and record the sessions I ran. Afterwords, I'd take the audio and turn the in-game stuff into a narrative story that (...)
