I'm really ancient and for some reason have been reading books since I found a copy of "The Burning Shore" by Wilbur Smith in my Grannies house in Dunvegan when I was 14yrs old, and was hooked. Only comics before that I think!!! I also started 'gaming' around then on a Dragon 32k and instead of learning how it worked I just played Manic Miner!? Now I enjoy LitRPG and all sub species of said genre and then fell into Portal books and even Cultivation. Basically anything I can get my grubby hands on. I still read 'serious' books :-) as in Terry Pratchett, Bernard Cornwell & Julian Stockwin oh and love a bit of Peter May out in the Hebrides. Finally I dream of writing my own work of shear amazingness, (I started a Roman story set in Scotland back in Primary7, but that stopped after I realised 100 words a chapter didn't cut it :-P), and well maybe one day once the 'Man' lets me run free.... |
