    1. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

Honestly, just add Xuanhuan and give more lines of description for the 3 genres.

    2. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

No, if you are actively looking for something then I fully expect you to know what that something is. But judging from our discussion that seems too much to ask.  :peodead: that's kind of gatekeeping. (...)

    3. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

I don't think the tag is the problem. It's the fact that the people use them without knowing what they are.

    5. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

Maybe then you should start by having the "experts" aka the writers use the correct jargon so that the layperson can learn it.

    6. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

I don't understand this argument. Where you all born with an innate knowledge of what the fantasy or sci-fi tag meant or did you learn it through reading books/having people tell you about it? This (...)

    7. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

If the whole point of tags is so people don't feel isolated, I can't wait till we get a trillion of new tags that are already covered by existing ones.  :peolove: By the way dear RR authors, your stories (...)

    8. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

Since litRPGs are inherently cultivation as well, that would apply under this argument. No, they are not. Cultivation is based on Chinese folk-religion, Taoism, and Buddism. There are western (...)

    9. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

I don't think we should dumb it down, it takes less than 5 minutes of research to find the right genres. Not to mention that the Xianxia tag is already overused on this site, I don't want to imagine how (...)

    10. Re: The Xianxia tag should have a '/cultivation' at the end

More like, you should be arguing for Amazon to start using the correct tags  :DrakanBook: Not to mention that most Xianxia stories on this site aren't, in fact, a Xianxia.

    11. Re: Do you have a life-long dream book you'd love to write/finish writing/have already written?

I want to write an epic Fantasy World War, I'm not good enough yet though.  :FancyDrakan:

    12. Re: Is the Marxist culture creeping into rrl?

This one has nothing to do with world view. The rules state that you can't give out negative reviews simply because you don't like the genre/subgenre. You could rewrite the review like this: "This (...)

    13. Re: Writing Rituals

I don't necessarily do it before writing, but when I get stuck I play a chess game.

    14. Re: Uneven Achievements And Annoying OCD

Could remove the stars altogether and make the emblems become fancier with each level up.  :FancyDrakan:

    15. Re: The naughty kids of royal road

Coiling Dragon and Tales of Demons and Gods are as close to xianxia as I am to becoming a Formula 1 driver.  :peogiggle:

    16. Re: When using stats in a LitRPG, how Hard Magic vs Soft Magic would you say it has to be?

I would say that for a litrpg the system should be as hard as it gets, like a rpg.

    17. Re: Help picking ideas please

It’s got a more spice and wolf/slice of life style vibe Say no more fam, I'm sold on number 1  :FancyDrakan:

    18. Re: How does one write a sports match?

I'm currently trying to write a sports novel, inspired by Galactik Football's Netherball in case you are curious, but how would one write its matches? As a mostly fantasy reader, I've tried writing them (...)

    19. Re: Improve Your Writing and Your Confidence

Really cool and helpful post, but the font, italic, and text size makes it really difficult to read for someone blind like me.  :peodead:

    20. Re: I think this is technically about gaming.

The Trails series has a ton of books. In particular, there is a series of 11 books called Carnelia that you can find in almost all games. It's a story inspired by two characters that you meet, or are mentioned, (...)
