    1. Re: I love maps--here's two I made for my story!

Wow, these look incredible. Well done! What software did you use? Thank you so much :)

    2. Re: I love maps--here's two I made for my story!

These look quite good. My only critique would be that the "sea" in the second map looks more like a marble slab (it's even got cracks) than water. Perhaps a little more blue would help. That's a good (...)

    3. Re: I love maps--here's two I made for my story!

Whatcha guys think?  Looking amazing :)  The only advice I can come up with would be that the names sound a touch repetitive. Most of them use "The X of Y" formula. I think it might look better (...)

    5. Re: The feeling of getting out of a rut...

I just keep on writing until it gets good again. One thing I've noticed is that you only ever feel like your writing is bad when you don't know where it's going, but as soon as you know where it's going (...)

    6. Re: Review Swap!

I'm also writing an epic fantasy, so would love to do a swap with Firstborn mage? My story is in my sig! Sounds good! :) Your story looks interesting. I'll start it as soon as I can!

    7. Re: The feeling of getting out of a rut...

For me, I try writing other novels with similar genres to get some inspiration. It also helps me improve my writing. This is a nice approach!

    8. Re: Review Swap!

I would love to do a review swap with you. I'm torn on which story to read and review, because they both look fun. I think I'd prefer to start with the Firstborn Mage.  My story is a fanfiction, but (...)

    9. Re: Review Swap!

Hey guys! I was on hiatus for a few months and got back into the flow of writing. That said, I want to do a few swaps.  I will start off with 2 swaps per story. I'll attach the cover (link is attached (...)

    10. Re: The feeling of getting out of a rut...

I had been in a rut of writer's block for months with one of the stories I write. It was so conflicting with me, too, because it was one that was being received so well. That said, something was missing (...)

    11. Re: Got a new review on my story!

Congrats! I'd recommend putting your story's link in the signature to increase exposure.  Haha thank you!  And I do! I just didn't tick the box  :peoapproval: Probably should have

    12. Re: The big one!

      Congratulations! That's awesome

    13. Re: Got a review on my new story!

I started rewriting a story I've been working on for what felt like ages, and I really wanted to make sure it was done well because it would be the foundation for the sequels.  The exposure for this (...)

    14. Re: Dear Premium Users,

Wow there are people like you, huh. So kind. Maybe Royal Road should have a one time donation button to Paypal.  Royal Road could set up a Patreon account as well! I think people would be willing (...)

    15. Re: Dear Premium Users,

I have been a premium member since I joined the site (give or take a few days, if I'm recalling correctly), and I have no plans to get rid of it :) Worth every penny, imo. In fact, I'd probably pay more (...)

    16. Re: What's something positive that has happened to you?

Poured boiling water on the back of my palm. Lucky it missed my fingers though, so that's a plus... Oh! Good things! Well, came up with an idea for a chapter that was going nowhere while I was in (...)

I'm happy because I'm hydrated Need some more water? :) what game?  It's somewhat a kid's game called Growtopia. I learned how to profit both in games and in real life and how the economy (...)

    19. Re: What's something positive that has happened to you?

Nothing major, but I've had more inspiration to draw as of late. It's been slowly fueling my desire to write. Yay for drawing. Keep it up  :peolove:

    20. Re: What's something positive that has happened to you?

My kid wrote a flash fiction Halloween story for a contest in his school. I just finished reviewing it for him. It's his first writing contest. Congratulations! I remember my first writing contest. (...)
