    1. Re: Share your strong book opinions.

Deus ex machina and plot armor ruin stories for me. Sure I already know the MC is likely to survive until the end of the book, but using contrived plot devices to get them out of seemingly impossible peril (...)

    2. Re: Dungeon map

Agree with Juda305 about putting together enough words to make a chapter out of it. I can just imagine a D&D version of GPS. "Turn left at the next rotting corpse." "Make U-turn at evil wizard"

    3. Re: Better Late Than Never

Welcome to Royal Road. I think you've find a lot here you'll enjoy reading and it's not likely to topple over on you. Then again, if you're reading on a phone or tablet it would be theoretically possible (...)

I'll see your earthly metals and raise you the metallic asteroid 16 Psyche. (24100000000000000000 kg baby!) http://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image/pia24472-psyche-asteroid-illustration-16_0.jpg

    11. Re: Being a Good Writer and a Good Story Teller Are Two Separate Things

I would have to agree. The best story ideas are meaningless unless you're able to communicate them in a way that will make people want to read what you've written. Conversing, I've read stuff from some (...)
