Click can best be described as Lawful-Neutral, but in a way that they see merit in making and benefitting from allies rather than trample everything under them. So not a Hero, but definitely not a mindlessly evil villain.

Single Mother Cultivator is as the title suggests, a Cultivation novel. Unlike other Cultivation stories, this one focuses on multiple Asian mythologies rather than just Chinese myth, and isn’t just a generic power fantasy. It explores the very nature of strength itself, and how it could and should be used. The foundational power system is the same for both major factions, with differences in their philosophies on how to pursue it.

Artyom Choi, cynical ex-hero and founding member of the organization, is sent to investigate the presence of an Earther on an innocently idyllic World where no summoning has supposedly taken place. His mission: rescue the Earther and figure out how he got there. Dark secrets lie beneath the surface of paradise, however. Will he be able to find this new hero and get out before whatever malicious forces brought them there doom them both?

    This story is meant to be a deconstruction of the isekai genre that references and sometimes pokes fun at various tropes. Artyom isn’t some kid whose goal is to amass Levels or a harem. In fact, all he cares about is protecting other Earthers, and won’t let anything like that get in the way! So expect to see:

        -A mature main character who still has some flaws.

        -Character development over the course of the story.

        -No harems! (see last point)

        -A vibrant world full of interesting people, deep culture, and mysterious lore that gets uncovered as the story goes on.

        -Plenty of funny moments along the way!

        -The presence of a few cliched tropes and stereotypes only for the sake of poking fun at them.

Short story for the RR magazine contest! Bit of a tongue in cheek take on how gacha in games is literally just gambling. Maybe a little bit more than just that beneath the surface, though? Maybe?

Ben Rogers, a 13 year old boy, wakes up to find himself in the world of Averon's Clash. Tasked with stopping the Vampire clans from blotting out the sun, he's joined by three similarly aged companions, the supposed best arms and armor provided by the Kingdom, and a gacha system?! :O

Note: Gore is used very lightly, it's probably the literary equivalent of the level of gore in the actual game of Skyrim, so not that bad.

Jules, a recent college grad, is the punchline of the infamous joke: he's been dragged into the world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! It almost sounds like a dream come true for many, living inside of a beloved video game, except for one fact. Beyond the story and world of the game, it's still real life and has everything that comes with it including those around you being sapient and capable of free will, consequences for your actions, and the inevitability of death! Jules must come to terms with where he is, how he fits into this world, and find the answer to the questions of if AND how he should escape.

This is a tale of coming to terms with the world around you, the ideas of faith and fate, doing what's right, and moving on.
