Nico, a young dragon of barely fifty, is rudely chased from his home by a group of murderous adventurers. Of his entire clutch, only he and one sister remained, but now he is alone.

Isolated and hungry, Nico’s magic awakens, bonding him with Cami, a brave, young woman.

In order to hide from the adventurers’ pursuit, Nico takes on human form. However, once they discover that both he and Cami have magical ability they are required by law to attend the Imperial Academy.

Of course, he has to hide his true nature, which isn't always easy, given a dragon sized ego.

A publication date has been decided on for Amazon. The story will publish on May 16th on Amazon with KU and Audible at the same time. 

That means that the content of the first book will be pulled 3-4 days before that. Material for book 2 will continue to be here. 

This is a litrpg story complete with levels, classes, stats, gear, spells and skills, and some limited quests. The stats mean something for the development of the character but full stat sheets are only repeated in their own chapters after there have been changes. You could enjoy the story without the stats but I believe they add to it. 

There is some romance which will be handled slowly. This occurs between multiple characters but is NOT harem in any way, nor will it be poly. There will simply be more than one couple in the story, each working through romances in their own way.

I included the gore tag because there is some significant violence but I don't believe it is particularly bloody.  The story is told from the first person perspective of Nico, but there are 
a number of interludes which tell the story from Cami's perspective but in 3rd person. She could be considered the second main character.

My goal is to post several chapters in rapid succession and then a chapter every day M-F.

The chapters will vary in length between 1800-4000 words as the story dictates. Most will be between 2000-2500 words. The prologue is shorter.

There are four more books to come and we will see about putting up chapters here for those that want to read the ongoing story since I've started trying to have more of a presence on RR.

Dave has been wandering through life for a long time. His day job bores him and he never seems to be able to meet his family's expectations. The only escape he's ever had is his love of MMORPGs.

But when he becomes the subject of a test without even knowing it, he's portaled into a game-world called Eloria with no way out. It's a frequent daydream of his, however, in none of those dreams did his wife and daughter ever accompany him.

Now, Dave must balance protecting his family with exploring his dream...oh, and trying to stay alive. Monstrous beasts roam Elaria, worst of all, an undead army led by the vile Death Knight.

He'll have to adapt fast and learn to cooperate if he hopes to make a new home for his family. And just maybe, along the way, he'll find out why they're living a life in exile.
