    2. Re: Formula For How Much A .5 Bomb Will Cost You (And How Many Ratings You'll Need To Recover)

I'd like to know why it is an expectation that the number of trolls would stay proportionally the same the larger the site grows. There are no metrics for it, but this site is pretty well-known for having (...)

    3. Re: Formula For How Much A .5 Bomb Will Cost You (And How Many Ratings You'll Need To Recover)

There is a lot of stuff in this thread, jeez. Let's see. My replies might be a bit out of order by time I'm done here, sorry about that. This is straight from the FAQ: The wording wasn't super clear (...)

    4. Re: Revenge Reviews and Ratings.

Personally I hate the rating system, I think its gamed.  But my thoughts on the matter don't have weight for the website. We take all the feedback we get into account - we don't get anywhere near enough (...)

    5. Re: Which cover should I use?

It's obviously the waifu that you should use. It's always the waifu. That said, get some decent type setting on it, without that you're comparing apples to oranges.

    6. Re: What is the best antivirus software for your PC ?

Common sense While you are not wrong, the sad truth of 2020 is that common sense doesn't protect you from everything.

    7. Re: Comprehensive Coding Guide for the Updated Website (HTML)

This is intentional. style tags can be used to cause shenanigans to other parts of the website other than the fiction content, and attributes or css styles are whitelisted manually if they are deemed (...)

    9. Re: RSS Feeds returning 403 on newsblur

Due to an extreme amount of bot activity we had to block the entire network of several server providers which seems to have impacted NewsBlur too. The RSS feed has been since whitelisted from these networks, (...)

    10. Re: Why does google doc irritate me so much?

Yes that's basically it , and that's technically a  possible cause for your problem. Though you don't need very good Internet, might be more sensitive to latency.

    11. Re: Why does google doc irritate me so much?

Google Docs doesn't autosave, you are directly working on an online document from the server. It's a live connection, so technically no separate "saving" done. You are directly typing into the source. (...)

    12. Re: The search for the highest level account.

Holy cow he's almost level 30

    13. Re: Thread 2: electric boogaloo

This thread has almost as many ports as views. That's amazing.

    14. Re: Reviews: chapters read is important, amazon has star system right

I think they just need to do away with the quick review system.  If someone is going to rate a story, they should at least be required to leave a few lines of feedback so both the author and other readers (...)

    15. Re: Reviews: chapters read is important, amazon has star system right

Does it work based on current bookmark?   Yes. I see very little reason to go out of my way to ask the users to fill in an extra field when it's already tracked in a fairly straightforward manner, (...)

    16. Re: Reviews: chapters read is important, amazon has star system right

The review thing is already a feature albeit it cannot be applied to older reviews. The ability to not backtrack your reader progress when you open an older chapter is currently in Beta for premium (...)

    17. Re: [Request] Rollback the new bookmarks url and new follow list button

It was needed because it was confusing; we've been frequently asked about where people can find their follows since they overlooked it as bookmarks, and also often asked why it was called as such when (...)
