The Calamity of a Reborn Witch

I want to start off by saying this is an extremely well written story from a skilled writer.  It's an Isekai, and the world that Carina is transported to is complex and detailed and interesting. There are large mysteries that the story presents about what happened to Maura originally, and why Carina is there at all that slowly reveal themselves as you learn more about the different characters and factions and schemes in play on multiple levels. I would strongly recommend this if the description sounds interesting to you.

Tori Transmigrated

I've tried a few reborn as the villainess stories, and i love the premise of starting as the villain and changing your destiny. However this is the first one i've read that was actually done well.  MC has to navigate her own villainess legacy and a 'game world' that may be trying to lead her into a confrontation with the 'hero' she's trying to avoid. The story delivers exactly what it promises.

Warlock's Gate [DROPPED]

This is already one of my favorite stories on Royal Road.

Pros: The main lead, Fallon, and her less common warlock class. I'm looking forward to learning more about her class, it's magic and the demon familiar, and how it ties into the wider world.  The politics in and around her family as well play a big part in this story and this author does a great job with political intrigue.

Cons: as others have pointed out the combat stats can be difficult to follow and are text heavy. I have found myself skimming over them. the other leads are, at this point, less interesting than Fallon.

Beneath the Dragoneye Moons

This is a great story. I love the roman inspired setting, it a nice change from the more common medieval inspired fantasy stories.  The leveling system is well desinged and interesting to follow as well which is critical for LitRPG.   The main character can be childish at times, which is annoying, but i found this less of a problem as the story continued.

Metaworld Chronicles

Magic System and World Building are the highlights

Over 400 chapters and I'm still reading this story so it's worth at least 4 stars. I did drop it once, i found the first 20 or so chapters fairly dull. Until the end of the field trip, after that the story gets steadily better. The magic system is well developed and the highlight of the novel, and the world with the mix of the real world and fantasy is interesting. I don't disagree with some of the other complaints on here, like the focus on clothing, but it never bothered me.
