I would like to be able to sort authors by achievements so I can easily find an author who's book #1 a long time ago.

I'd like that too, mostly so I can do things like find a stub I'd like to read that used to be high, like HWFWM or BoC.

Seems like a good idea, especially for those authors who were successful but fell off as others took their place.
