It's a rather refreshing look at the VRMMO genre with a lovely setting and very in depth and well thought out system. It is written really well, and I think the fact that not many people have read it is a crime. It's not that new but its to much of a shame that it doesn't have a following.
Please do give it a shot! (Also if you like to binge read it has 50 chaps as of now)

Many thanks in advance,
P.S. I was very excited and feel very silly for forgetting to actually link the fiction. Thanks GymRat!

I've recommended alot of stories on this thread over several years on 2 accounts, some have been good, some turned out to be only decent, some even turned out to be bad. But this is the best story I've read on this site and fucking amazing. Like stay up till midnight bingeing it amazing, like Magnus Archives amazing. Do not consider, do not read the summary, just start, it's fucking gold.
What story are you recommending?
Another one, it's huge already, but actually only 1 month old and only 19 chapters. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/45534/this-used-to-be-about-dungeons I love it so much. It reminds me of Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, which I loved so much. The writing is amazing, I love the characters, the worldbuilding is perfect, and the dungeon was tense and interesting. The pace is a bit slower, the chapters a bit longer, so this might not be for everybody. But I would rate it 10/10 any day of the week.
