I'll give this a shot. I just redid my synopsis, so I think it is good timing.

Synopsis/Blurb for Overlap:

I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world. Our universe is bigger and more amazing than anyone realizes.

Reality is merely subjective; we judge it based on what we experience and perceive, even when others do not share the same experiences. When my life turned upside down, I wasn't trying to fall in love; I wasn't trying to get too involved. When my senses all became shared with somebody else, I learned too much to turn away from it all. Her world, so near yet so far away, is something I can experience through her, our senses combined together, our realities overlapped between two places. It's there when my story started.

This is our story. It has a beginning, but not an ending. The things that happened to me over all these years would have messed with most people's heads. I put up with all of it, because I couldn't hold back how I felt for her. Little did I know that love comes with a price. As amazing as it is to hear about someone finding their soulmate, it's something that can just as easily tear a person limb to limb, leaving nothing behind but dust. Romance isn't all about walking away in the sweet sunset; it's messy, complex, and downright terrifying at times. My abilities never made any of this easier.

I'll give it a shot. Here's mine:

In the depths of darkness, a malevolent force stirs. Nox, the feared necromancer, finds himself unexpectedly transported to a realm where his destiny is rewritten. Branded a hero by the people of the new world, he must rise to face the demon lord and prove his worth. Battling against doubt and betrayal, Nox navigates a treacherous path, forging alliances and unraveling the secrets of his own power.

As he journeys through a fractured kingdom, the Summoned Death God will defy expectations, challenge destiny, and unleash the true extent of his dark abilities. In a clash of shadows and a world teetering on the edge of chaos, the fate of all hangs in the balance.

Love the idea, as often I'm just choosing based off art, name and chapter (length + amount)

Here's my synopsis (though I'll be updating it soon as the story progresses):

Kade Evans got handed a bad hand in life, being left with little and nobody he can count on. Having experienced betrayal he finds himself living alone and with nothing to live for.
A newly launched full-dive game: 'New Earth' offers him something he is looking for, whether that is a goal, a chance to start over, or a way to escape the past.
Will he be able to find a new beginning and live in peace as he hopes, or will the past find him before he is strong enough to handle it?

i'm gonna drop the synopsis of my big project that i know could definitely use some tweaking that I've used across multiple sites
"Satan Satanel is just trying to live his life, but then his family is attacked suddenly at the Satanel family reunion and he finds out that nothing will ever be the same for his family again when his old friends vow to take over Ayuzuma. Though it wasn't the home he wanted he finds he appreciated it more than he thought. Secrets will be revealed, friends become enemies, and people appear again despite being practically dead for thousands of years. Will Satan be able to stop his friends from taking over before it turns into a conquest for the galaxy?"

I always wanted power and knowledge, i was too lazy to strive for it though, i had multiple chances to grow strong and so i did, but it never seemed like it was enough. too many of my comrades are dead... Who am i kidding, they were destined to die from the begining... There was no helping it, i guess, it was foolish to challenge a god.

A war broke out, it was unexpected, the four calamities ravaged the land and we barely even recovered from the previous conflict.

I was immature, foolish, i was a child. But so were they, they didn't deserve to die anymore than me. I don't have much time myself, although the conflict is over and the god is dead... Did we actually win? Was the end goal worth the countless lives lost? Will the world recover from the war? These question are on my mind even in my dying moments, its funny, i died almost as patheticly as i lived. My family and friends needed me the most and i was too carefree, living life to the fullest, i just want to sleep, sleep my days away, why can't i? I want to be back... To my younger times where i was living well, where i could sleep the whole day and wake up seeing my family... My sister, my mother, my father... I miss them... And soon will meet them again. But i only need one question answered...

If i knew what would have happened then... Could i have done anything to stop it?

I'm not too sure about whether my synopsis does justice to the story. All feedback welcome :)

On the same fateful day, Luna, Flint, Thea, and Toya perish and wake up in Empiria — a strange land where all the world’s pantheons have coexisted in exile for the past 500 years. Luna and her companions are the only ones capable of passing through the barrier dividing Earth and Empiria, and the gods are expecting them to lead the way to reunification. As their path unfolds, Luna and her companions must decide if the pursuit of divine reunion is worth the sacrifices they will face.

Juniper and Min Jun both want to find REAL love. Both have had their share of heartbreaks. Juniper thought Caleb was the love of her life, until he showed his true colors. Min Jun, an ex-K-pop trainee, thought Samantha would stay when he didn't make the cut, but she had other plans. Juniper decides to leave everything she knows to redirect her life as she has a passion for art and game development.  Min Jun, now an accountant, still has the love of dance. Even though their lives have flipped upside down, they still have high hopes of living out their dreams and finding the ONE to make their lives complete. When their abysmal lovers return trying to reclaim or rekindle what was lost long ago, especially since leaked videos have gone viral along with  BOTH Juniper's and Min Jun's  dreams now reachable, will Fate step in and help them create their own Love Language?

When secret recordings of Min Jun start to surface, attention of those once forgotten, return to reclaim what was once theirs. Caleb doesn't want to take 'no' for an answer, it's been over with Juniper for months. And Samantha is back, trying to chase that spotlight that was never given to her. Will she be able to regain control of MinJun to share his spotlight or will someone in the shadows make sure she is finally seen for what she really is? When the exes try their best to break them up by all means necessary, Fate steps in and shows Samantha and Caleb that they have no control over what is destined.

Forgive me if I've posted this incorrectly, but I'm new to the site :-) I'll review the synopsis above me, and post mine below.

Hi! I think the synopsis gives too much information about the story, and feels a little bit more like a summary than a synopsis. You want someone who takes a look at it to think, "I want to read this book to find out what happens next." Perhaps start with an attention grabbing first sentence- maybe start with a question for potential readers, or make a harrowing or thought provoking statement at the beginning that will get people thinking?  Also, I think the back and forth between the various characters is a little hard to follow- it feels like the synopsis is jumping from Min Jun to Juniper to Samantha to Caleb and back again, and it's a little difficult to tell who the synopsis is talking about at any one point, and thus hard to pinpoint what the plot of your story is.

I hope this helped a bit! I think you did a good job conveying the genre of your story but to sum it up: Start with an attention grabbing opening, avoid revealing too much information in your summary, and convey what you want the main idea/theme/plot of your story to be through the synopsis.

Here is the synopsis for my story, for House of Helena:

"It is not death I fear-but the humanity one must face in regards to it."

A boy with hair as red as roses, but blood as clear as water.
A woman who will never have a child of her own.
A girl who lives on the edge, to remind herself she is alive.

What do these three individuals have in common?

Enter The Dollhouse, a magical world home to The Dolls- beautiful and enchanted creatures but cursed to endlessly scour the earth without meaning or direction.

Created for Helena Briar by her father Dr. Briar after a terrible accident shattered their relationship and family, The Dollhouse is his final testament of love-and magnum opus.

But what will happen, when many years later, Renata her daughter stumbles across the same dollhouse, abandoned, and forgotten.

But far from empty...

The first sentence has no meaning to mee. Otherwise starting as mysterious citation is nice. The next three line are very good too.

I would replace everything after "Created by .." by something much shorter, like "But the had been abandoned and forgotten until Renata stumbled upon them ..." or whatever matches your actual content.

And since I feel generous:

This reads a little bit like what I got after asking chatGPT to rewrite a blob like a novel ... way too many adjectives which did not explain anything (spirited, fearsome, ethereal, enigmatic, cosmic, ... ) Also " unwittingly steals" seems strange since stealing is a conscious act. It's hyperbole but not really describing a story.

The celestial orb makes Maya the accidental saviour of civilisations, guided by her mentor the Ethereal Whisper. That I got from your synopsis. But what is the plight May has to overcome? What are the challenges? Why read your story? Or is this slice of life? That you need to transport to interest people.

About the story, look at your profile or read the FAQ ...

And here is my for Jump Rider

Marik, pilot for hire, flew solo one-way trips in outdated ships with well-rounded AI, older than his grandfather (if he had one). As a human orphan raised on Fallerian by beetles, he was not afraid to jump to places far beyond human space. So far, it had not been paid off. But sooner or later that would change - either because he got stuck in limbo or he would make it.

A young space pilot's slice-of-life story. There will be aliens, genetically modified humans, cat people, centaurs and unreliable gods as well as legendary lost ships and a war as well.
