I'm losing my mind because this damn thing have been popping into my brain and rattling around for weeks now, and I just can't recall the bloody title.

The setting is fantasy and possibly reincarnation. The MC is a dragon that can shapeshift into human form. She saves a female noble that is being ambushed by bandits on the road and decides to travel with that noble to the nearest city.

That's all I remember. Thanks in advance for any future heroes out there that can help me out.

Maybe it is a story idea you want to write, and your brain is making you think it exists. 

Jokes aside, it does sound familiar, and now I am trying to remember.

This sounds to me like the second section of the first book of Azarinth Healer.  The main character is not a dragon;  she has, though, fought many Drakes at this point.

There is always another Drake.
