Hi all! Masenken here.

I finally made the decision to put myself out there for the world to see. I've been wanting to do this for years, but kept finding reasons to put it off, but I guess it finally clicked if I don't start, I'll never finish either. 

So, now I'm seeking to write and polish myself as a writer with the hopes to one day become an independent publisher. 
My schedule is, unfortunately, stupid packed, so I'm only able to post twice weekly, but even at that pace, I gather I'll probably be finished with the first book before the year's over, so that's something to look forward to!

Either way, I'm glad to be here and I'm completely open to honest criticisms so that I can continue to grow as a writer and entertainer. 

The series is a sci-fantasy focused on Everett and Lena, a couple trying to navigate their relationship as they reconnect through a massive VRMMO that has become really popular in the wake of an alien invasion. Lena is a long time veteran player, while Everett was finally convinced to play for the first time with the promise of getting his mind blown by participating in a massive racing event that involves giant mecha, magic, and driving at speeds he never thought possible. 

Each chapter is currently between 2.5-5k words, but I'm pushing to get to a happier medium of 3-3.5k.

That said, to any new readers, thank you. And to the community at large, double thank you for allowing me a space to put my thoughts out there to create a fiction that has sat in my head for far too long

Welcome. Twice a week is a common posting rate so that should work. Taking the step of putting your work out there for the world to see can be terrifying so congrats on having the courage to do it. Be aware that readers here can be quiet so it will take some work to get feedback. Friendly reminders in your chapter notes don't hurt.
