What is your MC's most favorite thing to do? And is there a reason why?

As for my MCs, Zack likes to go fishing anywhere he can while Jirell's hobby is sword collecting.
As for why, Zack and his father used to go fishing together when he was little and Jirell is just obsessed with blades and their design.

Tara loves to shop sadly there are no shopping malls in the Astral, so she's mostly been reading old books using the corpse of a good friend.

Badger enjoys pub trivia, which is actually going to be the focus of a couple chapters scheduled to release soon as a way to get some extra world building out there.

Reading.  The irony?  The only books he's seen in the story are written in Elvish, which he can't read.  Sadness.

Nadia likes practicing divination in her downtime. Granted, her Casting major is Divination, so it could be argued this is only because this is what she's used to, but who's to say?

Simone likes reading and researching. Most of it is related to their Casting major (Abjuration), though they love researching things just for the fun of it, too.

Etienne loves making art. Typically, paintings, though he sometimes dips into photography as well.

It used to be smoking and getting high, but since he unlocked his magic, it's essentially all he wants to do.

Karloc enjoys revenge and a light afternoon of raising the dead. Both help him help his people. 

Yuki reads manga, light novels and novels and consumes to a very unhealthy degree.  If you take it for a surface level hobby, he's just a big otaku, but if you put him on a therapist couch, then it's a distraction and escape.  It's a means to cope with the overwhelming depression, regret and sadness done in the most unhealthy way, turning away from it rather than facing it.

Saki trains herself in order not to make the same mistake again and not return the dark past she wants to see remained buried.

Seiji's hobby is looking for a fight, because he thinks that's the expression of it means to be a true man, he's fifteen and an idiot, so he's not really deep in motivations.

Yori doesn't have time for hobbies as he life is mostly studying and managing the household affairs.

Yumi only has a little spare time for hobbies and is mostly doing online research to improve herself trying lots of different things to find what she likes.

Chiharu is technically a contract sword for hire and would claim no hobbies, but she does look to fight the strong and train in order to live up to her Grandfather's hopes.

Fumiko loves fantasy novels such that's part of the literature club.  It secretly fills her need to see herself as a hero and protector of people as she failed to be one in her life.  And that shadow haunts constantly and fantasy novels gives her that escape and wish fulfillment.

Haruo has an affinity for animals and so all of his spare time is spent around town visiting or being visited by the wild animals.  They are quiet and not betray or hate like humans, making for significantly better company for him and his thoughts.

I'm reminded how miserable my cast is and how much they are trying to escape their pain.

Thenio likes to draw and paint. His favorite subjects are animals and magic beasts, especially ones with wings (he's recently started drawing a lot of dragons...).

Erin loves ballet, though when the story starts, she can't dance anymore because of an accident that seriously injured one of her knees.

You know, this thread is helpful, because I have no idea what my characters hobbies are. Unless you count killing monsters, annoying the fuck out of people, and binge watching series. 

Walter (Retriever isekai) likes annoying people. That's probably his main hobby, being a nuisance. 

Francisco (Lady Scarlet) doesn't have time or reason to have a hobby. 

Ald (If our rains...) is a farmer and blacksmith by trade, and likes doing his job and taking care of his little sister.

Wow, they sound so interesting. You have very unique and likable characters.

Considering the new rules of the world he's in, Michael loves messing around with animals.

He loves sneaking around with his superhuman body and messing with animals. That random caribiche that's grazing in the long grass field? 

If Michael's done with his tasks, he'll move as quietly as possible without disturbing the environment and then suddenly grab the caribiche's legs, preventing it from running.

Cleaning. Yeah, that is what she mostly does. Cleaning. 

Amanda - Horse-riding (also her job), playing poker, playing the drums/guitar, drinking too much

Sirius - Sailing (his job), reading (mostly non-fiction history, astronomy, and biology books), stargazing

Cat - Racing cars, fixing cars (her job), fighting, a little bit of sewing (but she'll hit you if you tell anyone)

Baz - Fishing, cooking, hunting, enjoying nature, people watching (no interacting)
