I think I'm trying far too hard to be funny here. So hello!

My name is Lear Ragnos, long-time reader of a great many stories, English major in their final year of college, and... I think relatively well-known on other websites? On one other website. On one specific website. For several reasons.
That's not important, though! Neither is everything I just deleted from this post! I'm just happy to be here and start talking shop when I can. If nothing else I'm here to see if my works survive out of the bubble in which they were written. Anything else'll come because I simply enjoy writing and reading. And editing. I can, in fact, serve as a copyediter if anyone needs it!
If you happen to be one of my favorite authors then I'm very sorry about the long string of reviews I'm beyond likely to start leaving after two days in the Royal Road ecosystem has helped me internalize the following.
Oh. Also, I write smut every now and then?
Mhm. Maybe should've opened with that one.

- Stories live and die on reviews.
- People like being complimented actually.
- Titles are important because they're the only advertising space a reader is even vaguely guaranteed to skim. Especially when you can't slap [Post-apocalypse Lit-RPG] onto it.
Oh. Also, I write smut every now and then?
Mhm. Maybe should've opened with that one.

Welcome. Love the passion for writing and reading. I know many authors here will be appreciative of your impressions of their work. Cinn's beginner's guide https://www.royalroad.com/forums/thread/111469 has a lot of helpful information about the site. Also I see you're already active in the Forums which is a great way to interact with the community. Hope you have a lot of fun here and that many people enjoy your work. Good luck.

Welcome
I think there's a bit of everything here on RR, so I imagine you'll find a bit of an audience. I think cross-posting is great because it helps spread readers across other platforms and enhances the general exposure of everything. Good luck and write on!

By the way, if you have some problems with your studies, I recommend this https://essays.edubirdie.com/write-my-dissertation dissertation writing service.

If you happen to be one of my favorite authors then I'm very sorry about the long string of reviews I'm beyond likely to start leaving after two days in the Royal Road ecosystem has helped me internalize the following.I'm primarily a quest writer on fiction.live. I adore experimenting with metafiction and cosmic horror. In a very real sense I'm obsessed with the structure of stories and the way we tell them, as well as how the mediums we use to spread them - print, Royal Road, random forums, and language itself - influences shapes the stories we tell. At the moment, I'm cleaning up and editing one of my favorite quests, Contractual Obligations, in order to put my best foot forward before I think about building up a backlog of other stories.

Welcome! This is the write 😉 place to be having a passion for writing. It's always nice to meet fellow authors whether they have a large catalog or are just starting. I look forward to reading your work in the future.
