I made a firefox addon for reading a full fiction in one go
#1
Hi! I always get annoyed when I have to click the Next Chapter button hundreds of times, especially when reading a story with short chapters. So, I've made this extension for your reading pleasure:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/royalroad-full-story/
Also works on android via this. Not yet available on chrome because they won't let me register, but the .crx is available at my github.
If you find a bug, report it here. If you want to request a feature, here or there works.

I once had the opposite problem. There's a great story on this site that is like 60k words, but it's all in one chapter. The problem is that I navigate away from that tab too often and it loses its place and trying to pick up the story again was a pain in the ass.

Interesting. But, how does this affect the authors pageview stats? I'd feel a little bad messing those up considering the amount of pageviews is one of the things that will tell an author if a story is successful or not.

The way the extension works is by visiting each chapter and grabbing the text, so if you read the whole thing it will remain consistent!
