Re: Views vs Followers

Some fun stats:
I have had 9 users come to my story using direct search by name. I had one user come to my story by searching my pen name. And I had 7 users come to my story off Google search.
When I was a reader before getting to be a writer, I never made an account for any site I read at(which was many, mostly manga and occasionally light/web novels).
Bookmarks and memorizing the names of what I liked were my standard, followed by looking for any latest updates that caught my eye, followed by trolling down the best-rated lists or most popular lists.
Even now that I have a maintained premium account, when I am reading through a story, usually I binge a bit of it and toss it on to read later. I save follows and favorites for stories that really hook me.

That being said, I did quickly learn that you can't do much without reading others' stories, so I did rectify that quickly. Thank you for explaining.
