So. Much. Alt-History.
Though it is pretty much all concentrated after WW2 with stuff like a smoother and less violent end to colonialism, increased investment in space travel, etc. And there are even some smaller differences such as British Leyland still existing.

Earth has recovered after an apocalyptic event flooded the world with mana and melded the continents together, unleashing a tide of death and destruction known as the Demonspawn upon humanity. However in the darkest hour humans were benevolently given a system to fight back, but with so many demonspawn and not enough mana-capable humans, humanity was whittled down into conclaves and underground shelters. Thousands of years later, Humanity has recovered, returning to the surface with an iron vengence. Although the Demonspawn still run amok, Human civilization thrives, with three major Nation-States dividing the land between themselves after the CORPO secession wars.
Athurian Empire: a Matriarchal Society ruled by the Empress from her floating Fortress Known as the Road Table. Out of all the Nation-States, The Empire is the only one to establish a multitude of Cities on the surface. With Magic and Metal, Pilots and soldiers operate Mechframes, artillery, and an explosive array of magical weaponry as they bring their military might to conquer lost lands. All while trampling on anything that dares to draw the ire of her Imperial Highness.
- An Imperial Knight
Corpo Alliance/Alliance of Free Cities: A conglomerate of shelters, cities, and bunkers Ruled by a board of Corporate entities that came to power during the secession wars. Liu Tech, Glasgow Shipping, Kagawa Clan, Cordell Engineering, and Barrington Industries operate under a cease-fire treaty and control specific portions of their nation so as to not step on each other's metaphorical toes. Using cybernetics in conjunction with Battle Automata and Landships, The Corpo Nation holds its own against the Empire and The Theocracy.
- Barrington Ind. Agent Logan Reese.
Cintelli Theocracy: The Saintess Citri gave her life to lead the people to the safety of the mountains during the collapse. As one of the first Awakened System users, Citri became deified by the people as they stood in awe of her strength during the demontides. The Theocracy is ruled by the Pope and his Bishops. A secretive nation, they abhor any modification to the human form such as cybernetics or Mechframe Implants. With many of their residents being Awakened System users, either by some fluke or divine intervention, the Theocracy believe it to be their holy mission to pioneer mankind's future.

The First Flame's world is big and complex and I designed it to exist within the realm of possibility while also playing on the imagination's limits. It takes the idea of an infinite universe and plays it to the extreme.
First is Kaiyumi, the "earth" of this story. It's a planet in the Azluen star system that contains Kaiyumi, 4 rocky planets, 2 gas giants, and a black hole that the star system orbits. Kaiyumi itself has 3 moons; Keinzeyl, a white moon, Zeytzeyl, a blood red moon, and Vulonfeyl, a moon seen only by the shadow it leaves across the sky which is really the black hole. Kaiyumi is strange in design as it is a war-torn world and every inch of the culture shows it. In the ancient past, the Kaiyumae existed as people of the land before they were enslaved by a race of dragons known as the Reig. It took thousands of years for them to fight back their freedom and the resulting war set back their civilization, meaning it has existed for 10k years in total but can't get past a medieval world. Their culture and language is also bastardized as a result with parts of their Kaiyumian language muddled with Reig tongue, making a stark contrast in speech.
Then there comes Templarius, the realm of the gods. A big message in the story is that the gods are nothing special and that remains. Templarius is another planet like any other and its people, the gods, are just a highly evolved and advanced civilization. They are the incarnation of the idea that any sufficiently technology advanced civilization would appear magical and divine to the lesser evolved, like how Ra was seen as a god in Stargate. They live on a world in perpetual twilight, lacking a sun of their own yet lit by the worlds around it. We actually made Templarius in a game I was a part of a few years ago. The closest world to Templarius is Semigon, a war-ravaged moon where no life can grow, sterilized by civil nuclear war. Additionally, all of the known (and unknown) pantheons exist as different houses of Templarian society. For example, Asgard and the nine Norse realms exist, but as its own star system. The Asgardians were Templarians that left and colonized said star system in the past, sparking Odin vs Ymir and Ginnungagap creation myths. Olympus also exists as a separate planet in another star system where a similar story took place.
Then there's the universe as a whole. Many characters that know of worlds beyond their own know the universe; a seemingly infinite cosmos of stars and planets. However to creatures like the Titans (like Arylos), they see the individual dimensions and branching multiverses of this universe, which they call Reality. It's kind of been accepted by readers that when Arylos says "Reality", he means the universe and the worlds in it. However, not revealed so far but hinted at, he's really referencing the collection of the 9 dimensions of space and 2 dimensions of time as well as the vast void that separates each dimension that forms reality and the interconnected paths of reality. There are many other worlds and Templarius is not unique in the infinite worlds in the universe. Reality, however, also includes worlds that exist due to choice. As Arylos explains, every choice creates an alternate world where the other choices are played out. Iris and other main characters are locked to this universe but Arylos as a Titan can freely see the other universes.

Well, considering the earlier world shattered and is now comprised of floating islands between two layers of clouds, inhabited by dragons and humans alike as a society, I'd say it has a few.
The tech level is pretty steampunkish along with the magical part of their engineering that our world would kill for as an energy source.

Soldier of Fortune - Cultivation is real (although not as crazy as some stories), and the setting is in a classical empire like a combination of Rome, China, and others.
Eternal Realms - In our future, in which deep-dive virtual reality games are popular.
Stargazer - further in the future, in which human tech has reached insane levels and colonization is rampant. Oh, and we uplifted Dogs, Cats, Rats, a bunch of monkeys, and other animals from Earth.

Happy turkey day all!
I lost some followers due to my break for November :(
and hoping to get some back so I'm self advertising lol act 2 starts December 1st!
My story is your stereotypical lit-rpg gone arry with an emphasis on tragedy and a subtle undertone of mental illness.
Mc finds himself lost and alone when the System takes control. With no other humans in sight he must adapt and survive, but in doing so he slowly loses touch with what humanity he had to begin with.
The differences between our world and the world of Teinity are endless. From the unusually large and dangerous environment to the elemental composition of the world itself, nothing is left untouched by the system. In many ways, what would be considered a weakness here would be a strength within the system and everyone sees the 'blue window' in a way that is unique to their personality.
My story is rather new and I still have a lot of world building and story telling to do. But for now know this...
Within the Nexus only one thing matters. Survival

Viz, differs from Earth greatly. Yet, things are familiar in a lot of ways. Viz is home to a dungeon, which dimensionally displaces a hundred people into Viz once every century. This has been happening since time immemorial.
Due to these dimensional events, Viz is a true melting pot of cultures. Humans from Earth, Fairies from Funar, and Synthires from Yaawar have learnt to live alongside the natives of Viz. These three planets are very similar to each other, and have some diverging moments in history which make them different from each other. Viz benefits from the advancement of all three worlds.
Magic and Technology go hand in had on Viz. It stems from the technological superiority brought on by the Synthires, which is further elevated by the magitech advancements of Viz.
Don't let all this distract you from the dastardly dungeon lurking in the corner. It is out to make life hard for these dimensional travelers. A life of luxury and fame awaits them if they survive the dungeon. I would call that a fair tradeoff. Would you?

Perfect Evolution
In my story, there is an Earth and there is Teremarae, the place where the story is currently occurring.
Teremarae is clearly different from Earth in a manner of ways, not just in size, place, or occupancy. The fundamental difference is the very laws each dimension follows.
An example of how different Teremarae is from Earth is how evolution works. In Teremae, any evolution that would naturally take millions of years of natural selection instead can be shorted to a few thousand years. Still long? Well, it can be shorted to months, weeks, days, and even seconds if the need for survival is strong enough.
And it tends to be strongest when a creature is fighting for its life. So it's the perfect area for a constant slaughterfest.

In my world, necromancers are seen as vile and irreputable creatures. On Earth, if someone could revive your dead dog - they'd be considered a pretty cool dude.

Kaven has giant floating islands that drift in set patterns over the skies. The physics of the worlds makes it possible for giant flying monsters and airships to exist. Though honestly i should explore that part of the story way more than i do. That would be the setting for The Heist at The Grand Spire.
Oskwit is a different world I created to explore a magic system based on resources instead of genetics or other factors. The world is fairly normal, actually, it's the existence of Magic Bullets, drugs that grant super powers, that change how it works in relation to the grander universe I set these stories in. That and one particularly nasty creature, akin to Swamp Thing from DC, that acts as a protector of sorts. That's the setting of Magic Bullets: Prophecy. As a side note, Oskwit was created since I wanted a planet that would act as a location for easy to access magic for the rest of the universe and a resource point that people would fight over.

Imagination in my story is a bit too overpowered mixed with the fact that something cannot cease to exist, a lot of aberration and straight up impossible things exist.
For exemple, because a lot of people have done macaroni art when young, something related to this would have to exist. Or more simply, the mona lisa would be punishing people for their sins if our world work like in my story. So, now think about well known horror movies...because they are well known, those things would exist.
Everything becomes chaotic, but a sort of stability set down as people who think of scary things die by such while those who imagined good things live better. Right now, my mc is being haunted by a children's story about cat...things get weird.

My world is so old, time is measured by the periods between apocalypses. Because people are always rebuilding on top of the ruins of previous civilizations, the tech level is completely messed up and inconsistent from place to place. Despite all that, people are still people- living as best they can, day to day.
