I've create a map for my fiction (yay!) and now I want to add it to the end of a chapter, just because. However, the 'add image' tool isn't very intuitive. Do I need to upload an image directly from the internet (google images or elsewhere)? I tried dragging and dropping, and that doesn't work. Is it because it's a png, and I need some other file format?

How can I just take my picture from my file folders and put them in the chapter?

Yeah its kinda unintuitive lol you have to upload the image to imgur or some image hosting site then use the insert picture option and paste the image link

This. Has to be a url. I do personally recommend imgur since they have a 'just grabbing the link' option so you don't have to make it public or anything.

if you use imgur, follow these two steps and you can post the copied link wherever you wanna put your image and badda bing badda boom, image!

If the picture is important, make sure you save it locally on your machine somewhere as well (or on the cloud wherever you store stuff).  Sometimes image hosting sites stop working after a while and you lose your old pics.
