I know this has been asked many times before, but does anyone know of some good progression kingdom building without harem? I actually prefer it if there is romance, just no harem. Also the main character has to know at least something about combat.

I recommend you check out my story, House of Honour.

The main character possesses only basic, rudimentary education in the art of combat as he had other interests as a young man, but during the story he actively fights and trains to improve his skills. There is also a romance plot which is rather slow in the first book, but in book two the pace picks up and the romantic interest is also added as a second POV character.

I've started a new story, currently 20k words posted (155k written, will be updating each weekday) that's focus is on a Litrpg world with empire building as the over-arching theme in a medieval high-fantasy world. I would love for you to check it out.
