Emerrane would be an RPG, a colorful semi-open world visually similar to Final Fantasy X or XII. You'd start on the main island continent and as you progress through the story you'd unlock more continents and other important locations to quest in, most of which your party can then access at will by boat or griffin or a combination of both. A combination could potentially allow you to access bonus locations which are too far to reach with just one or the other mode of transportation, and may or may not be locked behind certain story, skill or sidequest requirements. Gear would likely not be a large part of the progression, it'd be more to do with earned skills and the choices made during dialogue. There would 100% be a "build your own Aerie" griffin breeding minigame with opportunity to unlock tons of fancy color and marking genes as well as different physical builds with different statistical strengths and weaknesses.

Dungeon Inspector would be like if you're watching someone playing a Tycoon game (Zoo, Roller Coaster, etc.) but it was your job walk around and advise them while they're new at the game, berate them if they're deciding to yeet people off of coasters, and give the green light for when they're "local adventurer safe."
Sometimes, it's also like if those theme parks have gone too far and you need to become a natural disaster to demolish them because, let's face it, there's just no salvaging the ones where the drinks are $1, the bathrooms are $20, and the exit to the park has mysteriously vanished.
