So, I've started a series with a potentially low target audience for the writeathon. Multi-POV with non-likable/non-self-insert characters, Minor depression, Crude at times, SOL, Gamelit/Obscured LitRPG.

I am well aware both my defensive warnings/description and use of tropes that arn't popular won't get me a massive following, I'm mostly writing this series because I keep thinking about it/want to write it for myself and think at least a certain group of people will like it - I'd read it for example.

However, I'm also greedy and want followers and commenters hence me wanting to advertise and try and get some initial reviews in.

Open to review swaps from anyone that doesn't mind the tropes warned against. Completely fine with critical reviews as long as they arn't focusing on the points warned against - feel free to say my poise sucks or X doesn't make sense! I just don't want negative dings for "I don't like Multi POV series" or "I hate X character because they are an ass".

Down for both smaller reviews and advanced reviews - I'm really hoping for an honest review from someone who's reached my last chapter - chapter 10 - but I'll take what I can get.

I would've already written you a review by now regardless, if it weren't for the fact that Writathon was kinda kicking my ass, so I haven't read further in than Ch3. Guilty.

But, you can count on me! I'll find the time kinda soon. And this isn't a review swap, no need to write one back, I'm only at 9k words anyways, I don't care yet. Also I am legit a fan/reader and don't want my honest review tainted by the review-swap stamp, and for other readers to disregard it~

Btw. to authors in this thread: I recommend review swapping with Blue, his story is really interesting, and he has a great eye for Royalroad fictions. Grassroots, closer to the readerbase than the some other authors that can come across as "out of touch". His reviews bang~

I might have missed something but which of the books in your signature did you want a review on?

P.s. many of my favorite books have many POV. (I.e. Wheel of Time) i don't think there is inherently anything wrong with it. It does take more skill to make it work though. It's a bit of higher risk but higher reward

Sorry one of my stories is completed and has enough reviews by far -  I'm hoping for review swaps on 'The achievement [system]'/My writeathon attempt - updated in post.

Did you have a preferred story? Did you really want a double swap? I can do that as well even if it's not what I was advertising for.

Hey, would you be willing to do one more review swap?

My story has a slow start but it lays the groundwork for a more expansive story. Magic progression comes in later so you can choose to start from chapter 1 or from chapter 19 (where magic comes into play).

Hey! I'm taking my chance with this writathon and would like to have someone to just tell me what they think about my writing. I don't mind a negative review just looking for some criticism

 English is not my first language so it'll probably show on my writing. at the moment i have around 15k words with each chapter being around 2k words. I'm starting slow but i don't know if it is too slow or if i'm jumping over some important things.

 i'm always up to reading something new.

EDIT: I'm bringing my inner cringy edgelord to name the chapters, the story is a lot more chill.

Anyway, I will review your work, give me until the end of the week. Should you like the review, there is no need to review my main work, it is overly long and probably hard to read. Instead, please check chapter two and one of my most recent chapters and let me know if my English has improved in any way (in my main work, Duty, in the signature). No need to read the entire chapters, just read as much as you can. If it is too much of a hassle, no problem, I was looking for a story to review this week anyway.

Are you still willing? Because all those caveats sound awesome to me. I, too, have started a new story I'd love to get a review swap on. It's "I Suck At Titles" in my signature, and chapter 5 hits 10k words almost exactly.
