[Closed - for now!] V Does Reviews
#1
Hello there lovely people! I'm V, and though I'm quite new (less than a week deep, in fact!) to the world of webnoveling, I would love to dig into some stories here on Royal Road! I've noticed that the name of the game appears to be litRPG here - I confess I've never read a single piece of this fiction before, though that doesn't mean I'm not willing to give it a go! My primary interests are Fantasy, High and Low, and Science Fiction, both hard-fi and soft-fi welcome. I ADORE horror of all sorts, and I'm open to reading romance so long as there's a strong plot element to go along with it! I am honest with my reviews, but if I do have criticism to offer, it will always be constructive!
You can find some of my previous reviews on Goodreads. Of late, I have been putting more attention towards supporting independent authors in particular, so if you have a Goodreads profile and prefer your review to be there as well, I'm happy to oblige.
Please let me know in your reply if you would also like grammar/spelling issues edited. I noticed there is a tool for this here on RR, and I'd be happy to assist with that as well.

The Last Philosopher is a high-fantasy story with heavy-handed attempts at humour.
It revolves around the world of Huom and some of its quirkier inhabitants.
It’s the first book under the subtitle, Nothing is Everything.

Mine is regular Sci-Fi (space travel to be specific) with strong slice-of-life elements. Welcome to Royal Road, and thank you for doing this!
(I don't know how much you plan to read from each story, but you don't have to read all of mine.)

Greetings. First of all, let me welcome you here on Royal Road. The place is great, so I hope you'll have a good time here. :D
Secondly, I'd like to present my book, if that's alright. Glavas, My Pleasure! is not a LitRPG, so it's not really a taste of the Royal Road cuisine, but it's a high fantasy with a found family trope, monster hunting, food, and so on. If you're looking for something to read, please, take a peek and maybe you'll like what the story has to offer. :)

Aw, heck. I'm going to say I don't need a review (not out of lack of desire, it would just help other authors out more than me - your reviews look great, though, I love the detail you put into them, and I like that you clearly enjoy reading). I do want to say your book looks very interesting and the style is fantastic just from a quick read. I'm putting it on my list. Great cover, too!

I'm not one to say no to reviews, so I'll leave my story here. It's a low fantasy, without any overt magic and a bit on the darker side. I'd be honoured if you would give it a gander!

Mine's in the traditional fantasy realm. I'm always interested in receiving feedback. Given that English isn't my first language, I'm game for any grammar/spelling corrections. Thank you so much for the offer.
(Also, gotta agree with SilverLinings here. Your cover is absolutely rockin'. It very much pleases my aesthetics!)

I will never say no to a review, feel free to point out grammar issues if you want.
My story, here in the signature, is a parody of the litrpg genre. In other words, it's high fantasy with some slight game-like mechanics and tons of (often funny) body horror in the enemy design.

Welcome to Royal Road. You’re doing a tremendous service to the community by offering reviews. We all appreciate it.
If your interested, my novel The Semaphore seems to check a few of the boxes you mentioned (fantasy, sci-fi and horror) and I would welcome your review.
Thanks again.

Awesome and welcome to RR!
If you are interested, I would love more reviews and critiquing of Dishonor. I am working on heavy editing/rewriting portions of it before doing a second edition of book 1 on amazon and releasing book 2 on amazon so I am looking for as much feedback as I can get about what works and what doesn't work for the story.
Dishonor is a far post-apocalypse dystopian society story that feels more like a fantasy starting out, but slowly layers in more and more sci-fi tech (low sci-fi).
The link is in my profile. (If it doesn't interest you, but one of my other stories interests you; I appreciate feedback for any of my stories.)
Thanks for offering to review stories!

Hello! It’s awesome that you would be willing to read so many stories and leave advice with your reviews!! If you have time and my story interests you I would love it if you gave it a read! Any comments in the chapters would also be appreciated!! It’s not a LitRPG, but more like mixed elements from Sci-fi and Fantasy. The story is still ongoing.
*New* Post-Writathon Chapter Release schedule will now be every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
