The Unpopular Views
#1
This thread is open for those who have unpopular views! Yup! Being vocal for the unpopular opinion about copyright and so does it welcome whatever school of thoughts that are unpopular amongs the "General" Let's celebrate difference and diversity! 🥳
Any unpopular opinions might get bashed hard in this online community, the less vocal they are the worst that opinion became. The thing is, an advice call for "don't feed the haters" but the opposing view grew like mushroom and eventually causes catasthrophy yet still blames on those who are inconsistent with their opinion.Â
One example is the conservation of natural jungle. Some want their jungle as green as possible... but me? Imma burn down that shit! Nah, of course to say that will definately trigger furious major bash. But non and very few understand the fact that you need some wildfire to keep the ecosystem running. To have that cell that always grow = cancer. The cell dies and grow and dies and grow = circle of life.Â
Enough said. I wasn't one a popularity race. Cheers.

#2- Ginny is a good pick
- the Room of Requirement is overused and boring
- when SI's free Sirius early like the munchkins they are without any proof, they should be Betrayed in a sudden twist because he was the traitor all along!
- if you write a Deatheater child fic, make him properly evil and no bitchy "grey" character. wheres the racism and serving to your lord? i dont see enough proper servant MC stories
- "Grey" Characters are for people who are too edgy to be good but dont have enough Balls to be Evil. Stupid wishy washy allegiance, make up your mind, man!

- Draco should have joined the trio after Malfoy Manor. Total missed opportunity.
- Legend of Korra's very few interesting parts do not make up for the rest of the show. It's awful.
- Resident Alien is one of the best sci-fi shows currently running.
- The writers of The Orville understand the spirit of Star Trek better the writers of the current Star Trek shows.

How could such an objectively terrible take and an objectively correct take come from the same person?

1) I don't like Harry Potter or JK.
2) I enjoyed the second trilogy of Star Wars
3) Adulthood
4) Taxes
5) After a long character development where they understand the world is not black or white, they still decide to be on the side of the bland LC when the villain is the right choice.
6) I don't care how the curtains look or how tall anyone is, GIVE ME DIALOGUES. I like to eavesdrop.
7) Where are the plot twists? blow my mind!
8) Taxes
9) Coffee caps are expensive.
10) Why are shrinks expensive? Do you want me out of my meds?
11) Menstruation when you can't have kids. It is like paying most taxes for things you don't use.
12) The Internet is expensive.
13) RPGLit. If I want to play an MMO, I will go play it.
14) Smut. It is hard to understand after you read Anais Nin and Henry Miller.
15) What is this obsession with werewolves? It doesn't seem hygienic.
16) Taxes.Â

- Pineapple fits pizza just nicely. There, I said it.
- Why would anyone like super fancy restaurants with 15 different plates and wines and still be hungry. Drunk, but still hungry.
- Increasing rate of global warming is not the #1 problem of the world imo, it's merely a symptom of stupidity and increase of population.Â
- Picking a shovel and randomly digging up the grave of an old franchise to relaunch with unnecessary political agendas. Why can't we just enjoy the shows/stories without forcing other opinions down our throat.

1. I'm glad Harry's parents are dead. The father is a bully, and the mother is a stupid bitch.Â
If I'm going to write a Harry Potter fanfiction, the story should be about Snape and Harry understanding each other after Snape teaches Harry Occlumency, and they become sort of father/son dynamics. Then, for a brief moment (say, 3-5 days), his parents return to life and learn that Harry now resents his parents and is adopting Snape's surname, much to James' chagrin.
2. I never like Star wars. The first or the second trilogy.
3. I don't think Lebron should be called the King since others are better than him. He didn't deserve it then; he didn't deserve it now.

Digital Piracy is morally fine in many cases.
I won't debate that there aren't cheapskates out there; There absolutely are penny pinchers that won't spend a cent if they can find a way around it.
I was playing a pirated Borderlands 2 when I got the call for the secondary interview for my first job, where they scanned my ID card which pretty much signaled that I was, at last, finally employed. I was 23-24 at the time, unable to find employment because, even like today, everyone wants experience.
I bought Borderlands 2 with my first paycheck.
It's fine if someone is undergoing economic hardship. I don't feel unemployed sixteen year olds should lack content and culture just because they can't acquire their own funding yet. I don't expect a 12 year old to be able to spend 15$ for Stardew Valley. But if they can figure out piracy... why not? Go for it.

See, I did too. They make for great drinking game material.
I think the sequel series is probably better in a technical sense, but it is also way less interesting as a cultural product. The sequels are just another modern corporate blockbuster series. The prequels, on the other hand, might be objectively terrible but they are also the most insane and high budget that any auteur project has ever been allowed to get, and I really don't see that happening again for at least another hundred years if ever. The horrid yet complex writing, the sheer bloat of its special effects, the absolutely lunatic tonal shifting all throughout, etc.; it all makes for a really fascinating experience if nothing else. They're the only example of "so bad it's good" in the entire history of mass market blockbuster cinema, at least as far as I'm concerned.

Too many people are bad pets owner.Â
I hate driving.
A lot of food marketed as being amazing are quite boring.
Please put more spice in foods. Let me suffer when it goes down if it's my choice!
duck > chicken (unless it's something simple, then just use chicken)
Everyone should see what goes into making food (Not cooking, but how a pig is killed and prepped, and how much work goes into farming in general.)
I get more impressed when looking at clouds than looking at pictures of space... A big detailed cloud feels bigger and more oppressive than something too far away for me.
On the note of seeing what goes into making food, please show people more of the hard and disgusting work that is needed for us to live.Â
This one is more of a me issue (who has bad sensory overload) But there are some people who smell some way because of the food and spices their culture like to use that I find have too strong of an odor... They get me dizzy... My unpopular opinion is that people who smell good often smell too much. I don't mind people who stink too much... but some others who looked like nice people that I wanted to know made me dizzy by being too close to them. I want someone to invent an anti-perfume or a switch to my nose.Â
Potatoes taste better uncooked...with a bit of salt.Â

I think it’s really sad (and honestly, weird) that the act of dreaming is not more significant to more people. I mean, we (or at least, a lot of us) can experience whole other worlds in our heads, every night…and the majority of us aren’t actively training to be better at doing this lucidly, or even at more effectively remembering the (good) experiences we have? When we spend like, a third of our lives or something like that sleeping?? It’s wild.Â
And I say this as someone who regularly experiences horrifying nightmares. Or at least, I assume I do from the night terrors I’m told I regularly have and the little bits I remember. My brain has trained itself to block out most of the bad stuff. BUT STILLÂ
Dreams are cool and way too underratedÂ

I've read multiple articles and they all bounce between "Science has no idea why dreams are a thing" and "they mean nothing, shut up about it".

If all kids in school spent ten minutes every day to write down their dreams in a journal and learning how to lucid dream, the world could well be very different.Â

Korra's character arc is better than Zuko's, but ATLA show in every other regard is more enjoyable. If Korra existed by itself it would be forgotten among more interesting fantasy animated tv shows. Whereas ATLA is an enduring classic.Â
Daydreams are more powerful than dreams because you can act on the former.Â
It is sad that hard work, success and risk are praised because they are just as harmful as idleness, failure and caution.Â
Also, your happiness or unhappiness most likely isn't your fault. Evolution has given you a body with feelings, parents birthed you and most of the social, economic and political relationships you exist in you have only a minor influence over.Â
Tea is better than coffee. But water is the best.Â
