I know I'll be skewered, but someone has to take a stand for the marginalized group in the world

#1
There's no "attaboy" for standing up and doing what's right. But still, someone has to stand up for the marginalized. And I am here to say: I stand with you GAMERS.

Gamers are the most discriminated group in world history. No one has ever had to endure what gamers have had to do enure. That is why I am a proud GRA (Gamers' Rights Activist)

GAMERS.

HAVE.

RIGHTS.

It still persists to this very day. I can't boot up Mario without looking over my shoulder to see if any anti-gaming bigots (gameists) are around. It's not even safe anymore to walk around with a HALO t-shirt or a PRIMA strategy guide for Final Fantasy 7.

I still hold the belief that if you're over 18 and play video games purely to kill time then you're a loser. I think the oppression could be harder tbh.

I think that heavily depends on the circumstances. Do you have a job? Do you contribute anything meaningful to society? Do you engage in other hobbies aside from gaming? Do you interact with other people at all? As long as it's not the only thing you're doing with your time I don't see how simply playing games from time to time could make you a loser.

I'm mostly talking about the jobless. Although still I don't see why anyone over 18 who has all of that going for them would bother wasting time on a game, especially large amounts.

But yeah. Jobless gamers. This also includes people who don't try to make a career out if it. People like Markiplier are productive with it, as an example.

I think it might surprise you who games. It's practically another form of entertainment. It ranges from adults who have lives, to the retired, and to the disabled.

They can take our lives. But they can never take our controller.

To the minority of people who really do think of games as anything less than a perfectly reasonable form of entertainment, i guess congrats being here in a website full of webnovels, clearly a much more justifiable use of your time???

Of which 99.9% (including mine) are inspired one way or another (even if distantly) by developments in the world of games.

Because they're fun.

As long as you're productive with what you do. This is a site literally full of productivity.
If you're going to play games, be productive with it. Otherwise you're a loser. Take, like I said, Markiplier for example. Just one example out of thousands.
