I vaguely remember a story where a girl becomes  a  goddess and makes her world looks after it and then after defeating some evil falls asleep only to wake up and find a bunch of new gods have split her power and taken it for themselves

Forgotten is less "she fell asleep" and more "enslaved for a horrible life".

I didn't subscribe to my own thread so I completly forgot I asked, anyway Forgotten isn't it but it is a great story. no the one I'm thinking of was she created people that were made of rocks or at least stone like and then a creature from another realm came to eat her world and she managed to fight it off before falling asleep and then waking up to find her original species had split into five different races. one of the gods themselves came down to tell her to stay away from them and that was about as far as I got.
