Think Wedge Antilles in Star Wars or Cullen from Dragon Age.
Though I do broadly agree with Shamemanifest. I think they give a good explanation why some incidents get comments of plot armour whereas others don't.
But I do think that all tools and cliches can be used in fun/interesting ways by the author depending on what they're trying to achieve. Even the ones usually looked down on.
Off topic: my auto correct initially changed Star Wars to Stat Wars... Now I'm trying to decide if that's a LitRPG or a maths Olympiad thing. 😅
I disagree with Cullen from the Dragon Age. Cullen is the representation of a Templar and the cost of using Lyrium. He also shows the moral weight of falling in love with a mage (more even if you are an elf). He is the contrast to Alistair.
Do not mess with Cullen. He was my rebound after what Solas did to me.

Val got it, he should write a story with the Iguana having Plot Armor as his luck stat. This way, it is all on the board.
Jokes aside, this is a character readers would expect to get out of any situation. Since, that is his character. Someone insanely fortunate, makes for some good laughs.
Though, I do understand the sentiment of peeps overusing the word Plot Armor. You can say, any character would have Plot Armor, up until the point the plot requires them to go. What I believe they mean, is poor writing. Where the transitions of why a character would make it out of something, is not believable. This comes on the writer’s skill, and how well they can translate information.
Now if you will excuse me, seriously considering writing a story with an Iguana that has Plot Armor as his stat.

Apologies for going slightly off topic.
Though if we want to keep a Dragon Age discussion going we should probably move away from this thread. 😅

Slightly off topic, Cinn? Slightly off topic?!? More off topic than an armor-wearing iguana?
Oh, I wanna write a story where an iguana makes a suit of oarmor, like out of tin cans and bottlecaps that he finds in the trash, and then goes around telling everyone that he is now a dragon, because he also found a Bic lighter.
Yeah. And of course he can do no wrong, and is as boring as f*ck, as he also has Plot Armour.
Until it gets really cold one day, and he falls out of a tree (cuz that's what iguanas do when it gets really cold) and while he lays frozen and upside down in the road (after, like, bouncing off an old lady's head or something) he gets runned over by a truck.
And then the story becomes a Truck-kun Armor Wearing Iguana Isekia.
With nuts. ☀️

What can I say, fellas...it's a slow day at work.
Shoot, and gosh gol'darn it. All the characters in my Furry anime called QueerSpace have to be mammals in order to also be human.
Ach. What is the mammal equivalent of an iguana? Anyone? I already have a platypus who is the star jammer of a roller derby team that's owned by a panda mafioso.
This trash can armor wearing iguana dude is gonna be a hoot, telling everyone how he survived getting run over by a truck. I now have at least three more Episodes of QueerSpace I can write.
Oh yay. 🐊
