Pirim is obsessed not with saving the world or any particular group of people, she is obsessed with saving one person in particular. The rest of the world can burn for all she cares. The villagers that rely on her to stave away the unnamable powers at their doors should only live as long as Pirim needs them for her ends. Oh, but she probably shouldn't tell them that...

Victoria is all about saving the word! Even if it means cutting off a few "loose ends" in the process. No heretic is safe from her scarlet blade. Humanity, with its laziness and deviancy, does not deserve her unerring determination and iron will. She alone remains just in an unjust world. However, if you need to die so that the whole of humanity is saved, so be it. True justice cannot be swayed by personal attachments. For the greater good.
