So, I challenge you as a writer to simplify your story and it’s characters into their most basic form. I’m not talking simply tone tags, I’m talking full on “Idiot company tries to not go bankrupt, ends up fighting space aliens” stuff. A TLDR of your entire story, if you may.
This is meant to challenge you as a writer! Sometimes, it can be really hard to summarise something that you’ve put so much time, effort and worldbuilding into, and that is the point of this post. I’m awaiting your replies
(this has probably been done before nvm hehe)
TLDR: Fisherman sets out to trap a siren who's been ruining his livelihood, and it lures him into the ruins of a forgotten mountain kingdom...
Thanks for this idea; I'm a notoriously longwinded writer!
Quote:A teenager breaking away from past trauma through playing games with friends
i think that is the simplest one i can make XD
Glavas, my pleasure
A monster hunter accidentally adopts magical children.
Writer's creations want to kill him.
Man, this tore me apart. There is so much more that should be said! But it was fun. :D
Yeah, three words peons. Just try and get more basic than that!
(Also cute romance between roommates.)
Foxstone: Shapeshifting girl joins magical disaster family, turns out to be the biggest disaster of all
Stonesong: Goblins. Orcs. Airships. Mechs. DINOSAURS!
Cry Wolfe and To The Stars: Single chapter short stories that are short enough that if I give a TLDR, it's spoiler, but hey, people say they're good, so...
Lady tells a kid his future to manipulate him into doing what she says, and he doesn't realize it until he launches a revolution.
I mean, it's not at that part quite yet because it's just begun, but that's what the plot is :D
3 Bodies 1 Soul
Duskwood: Forest comes alive and starts nomming villagers.
Generic Fantasy: The Not-Musical: Generic Farm-boy NPC follows generic farm-boy protagonist on a generic fantasy adventure within a glitchy game with a wrong-genre storywriter.
