I am writing a Fantasy. I need help in gathering information for it.

Hello readers or fellow community members. I've recently started writing a fantasy novel of my own (have not published it yet). I'm currently stuck on gathering information for it like Different professions, races/ advanced races, mythical beings, items, special races relating to races, sound effects that can be used in novels etc... Furthermore, I am planning to collect as much as information as there is. I've currently made spreadsheets regarding the ones I know of below. If you know or come across anything not in the topics of the spreadsheets below while reading novels/mangas/webtoon. Please reply with the ones and also if there are any correction to the info of the existing ones please also do state it.

Places: (special places belonging to specific races, like great forest for normal elf)

Mythical Beings:

I listed down everything I know. If you know any more or come across one that doesn't exist in these, do reply with them. Also, feel free to ask me any questions you have.
Note: ? (question mark in the sentences means I'm not sure about that specific info)

Place: The world tree, often called Yggdrasil. It comes from Norse mythology from what I know, but in mangas, I've seen it used in elven culture as either their guiding spirit or something that ties to their magic (sometimes both).
I've also seen it not connected to elves but just to spirit creatures themselves as like the oldest spirit, or a sort of mother the spirits were born from. Most plots with the world tree have the tree dying and being reborn with a sprout/seed, or saved in a convenient way.
Hope this helps.

If you take those personality type tests you must be an S for the second letter. Probably (I or E)STP. And an INTJ this approach is kinda baffling to me for a novel. It would seem more normal for a roleplaying book or material for AI generation). From my perspective, you don't need ALL the knowledge for one novel. Instead you need a plot pattern pattern and a theme for the novel, then you do targeted research where necessary to fill in the pattern with thematically-appropriate locations and creatures. Trying to put one of every standard monster or mythical creature into a book will just make the workdbuilding bland. What do you want your story to be about?

And of course I'm not going to put each and everything into a single book. It's also for my future books.

Honestly? My best piece of advice for this is to go read. Read books on mythology, read books on history, read old fantasy, read new fantasy. Figure out what you like, draw from that, figure out ways to twist it around this way or that.

Lots of resources is definitely good, but don't forget to just make stuff up on your own as well. Somebody had to think up the sphinx to begin with, or so on, after all. You can also just like, do new takes and variations on old myths and all that too. Basically don't feel too chained to referencing other things, feel free to do whatever comes to mind too.
