I love stories with science done right, like with actual, real world science, no "I'm smart, so I can pull nuclear reactors out of my *ss"! Please recomend some like Techomagika or I Became a [Biologist] in a Fantasy World!

Well, I can recommend my own Descent. It may be an Urban-Sci-Fi-Fantasy, but I pride myself in making it as law abiding as possible. There's no such thing as breaking the laws of thermodynamics!

Does an Eco scientist that ponders the nature of possible soul cycles in nature count? He also experiments a bit, with magic, but it's early days yet. The first book is more about recovery, but there's some science in it and the MC is an engineer, if of the biological and ecological profession.

Mine isn't hard sci-fi, but it had scientific and philosophical themes, but it also has gods and magick, so not sure if that's what you're looking for? Anyway, it's in the signature :)
