Theme song for your work or characters?

#1
Hey everyone, just wondered if you had a theme song picked out for your series or characters? I feed off music so I have about a million but I had to pick a couple at the moment, the latest unreleased chapter of Sweet Venom would be this:
W.D.Y.W.F.M? By The Neighbourhood

And the theme tune for the whole series would 100% be:
The Handler by Muse

I write adult sci-fi nonsense - be careful, they'll come for you too!

Heavy Weapons in my universe and my canon is shared across my stories

There are a lot of songs that influenced my story, but these two are heavy influences for Gadgeteer:

- "Untraveled Road" by Thousand Foot Krutch (In a way, if this story were an animated show, I think this song would fit as it's OP)
- "Hero" by Skillet (Again, if Gadgeteer were an animated show, this song is what i envision for the ED)

As for Shindo East, the titular Gadgeteer of my story, he has two specific musical motifs that could be called his "theme songs":

- "I see Red" by Thousand Foot Krutch.
- "Talking to myself" by Watsky

Not what I’m currently working on, but This Is Love by Air Traffic Controller is 100% the theme for one of my projects.

For Lilium, for the longest time the theme has been Revenge Syndrome by Mafumafu/IA orrrr Red Fraction by Mell

This project, though, doesn’t really have one. I don’t normally think of songs that fit specific projects, if I’m being honest. Most of the time, I don’t even listen to music when writing. Or, if I do, it’s stuff without lyrics.

My WIP's theme song would be "Nightquest" by Nightwish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVQoQdWaIg8

The Adventures of BLUE EAGLE would have something similar to the 1968 The Adventures of Batman or something in that vein. Super Friends or something. Something with a narrator screaming the identities and basic abilities of decades-old iconic characters at you while every stock animation from the show flashes by your screen.

Same. I've been listening to the Oceanborn and Century Child albums a lot. Wishmaster, too. Might I recommend Tarja's solo work as well? Songs like Dead Promises, Spirits of the Sea, Shadow Play, Medusa, and Mystique Voyage are incredible beyond incredible, and each has inspired a scene in my WIP.

I love music! Lemme get in on this! I've got a ton of songs that I listen to while I write, and while Leveled Plane doesn't have any "theme songs," there are a few that shaped it into what it's become.

The way my characters interact with each other and the world in Leveled Plane was inspired by "Mars" by Sleeping at Last: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MetLIUdKon8

As for the current plot, I'd have to say that "Who Will Save You Now" by Les Friction matches it pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vI0FETSHAv4

Both songs help me get in the headspace I need to be in while I write. There are others, but those are probably the closest ones I've got.
