I don't write to music at all and hardly listen to it. Actually, I don't listen to it at all. It's because I'm schizophrenic and it all really just sounds like noise to me. It's sad because I used to love music as a youth.

I mostly write to R&B stuff, but it depends on the mood. For something like battle scenes, I listen to pop rock to heavy metal, and for emotional sad scenes, ballads.

I take a blank CD and put it in the player, plug in my headphones and turn it up full blast. I used to not use the headphones, but one night I accidently left the blank CD on repeat when I went out to a party and when I got back my landlord told me the Mime in the apartment below me had been driven insane. So now I use headphones... just in case.
