Shower is my Muse
#1
I have figured out when I want inspiration, it comes after my morning shower.
I take a notebook to work, stress causes a blank mind on ideas, at least for me.
During a shower, ideas seem to flow easily, not all the time, most of the time.
I have discovered, the writers secret :)

If there is a writer's grail. This is it. A have a friend who keeps a whiteboard in their shower just in case an idea strikes!

Lately my showers just bring me bad memories. Same with the minutes before sleep. I miss when I would envision intricate fantasies in these quiet moments. Now they're just filled with regrets.

When you let your brain reset and just sit there and be relaxed for a while, it allowed creatively. It's like getting good ideas when you're trying to go to sleep but don't' want to get up to write them down.
I've actually started putting aside 20 minutes a day just to lay down and trick my brain into giving me the ideas instead mwahahahaha

De hecho, comencé a reservar 20 minutos al día solo para acostarme y engañar a mi cerebro para que me diera ideas en su lugar, mwahahahaha.

Another great muse is music. Create a playlist of your favorite songs with the mood you are looking for and go for a brisk walk. I can put entire chapters together in a fifteen-minute stroll around the neighborhood. Just look out for moving vehicles.

This!
That and going to bed early and just letting your mind run wild.

The shower or honestly the more mindless stretches of my boring tedious retail job when I need something to keep me mentally occupied.

Same, a hot shower relaxes me and allows me to think more clearly. I kind of wish I could have written for the shower sometimes.

I don't have a muse per se, but I'm a seasonal writer and it freaking pisses me off. I can't write during the cold months because all I want to do is snuggle under some covers and watch some movies or tv shows.

For some reason, ideas come to me when I'm drinking coffee. I get a whole scene in my head, and by the time I realize I'm supposed to be drinking, the coffee had cooled down some.

Can you tell my wife I'm actually writing in the shower? Because past 15 minutes she becomes suspicious.

I just act out dialogue in the shower lol. But I also et plenty of ideas. Kinda funny how that works, ain't it?
Memento Mori.
