Love, or Let Go?

For the past few weeks, I've been working on AKM, something that I've posted about alot.

I've seen some interest in the idea, and I want to get it started, but I have a few snafoos.

Descent needs to be finished. Dopeman is on its way to being done, so that's not an issue.

I have three options:

Finish Dopeman, finish Descent, then work on AKM

Finish Dopeman, put Descent on hiatus, then work on AKM

Finish Dopeman, and work on Descent and AKM at the same time.

What should I do?

Re: Love, or Let Go?

I'd say take option 1. There has been too many times where I decided to put a project on hold to finish another project that excited me and then was unable to bring myself to go back and work on the old one. You might not have the problem, but from my experience, not finishing your other projects first is a bad idea, plus it lets your AKM (whatever that means) percolate and refine itself in the background so when you finally get to it you start it in a much more refined state.

Re: Love, or Let Go?

Finish your projects then start on AKM.

Don't overwhelm yourself to the point where you cant keep up with your own projects.

This way you don't have to put anything on hiatus, you get ahead of where you want to be, and you clear your brain for other more recent and upcoming projects.
