Schedule changes, good or bad idea?

I was considering trying a more frequent posting schedule just to see if I could handle it, with the plan to pull back to my standard one if it doesn't pan out.
Would that be okay to do, or would it make people sad once they got used to more chapters and then have them feel cheated when I went back to usual?

I think it's fine as long as you're upfront with your readers in the notes about it. Like 'I'm gonna post a bit extra these next few weeks to see if it works for me, and I'll let you know how it goes'. I mean if I was a reader I'd be chill with that.

Yes, as long as you let readers know what's going on there shouldn't be any problems.

Let them know ahead of time to build a little anticipation and awareness. That way you won't catch as many by surprise when they log in and the latest chapter is well beyond what they thought.

Create a back log and see if you can handle it.
I.E try wrong faster but don’t post faster until you know you can handle it.
