He's working really hard on it and I know that he'd appreciate some feedback. Especially since a lot of people seem to be burned out by writathon (which I shied away from for this reason.)

doravg Wrote: Sure, I'll check it out. And I am not burnout because of Writathon. I didn't give myself any break after finishing my first book.
Uft, fair enough! Sending good thoughts your way.
And thank you :)
As for my own writing, several authors on this website have told me that reading my fiction was beneficial for their own writing, particularly with regards to dialogue and world-building. Here's the link on the off chance that it may contribute to refreshing your creativity: Selena's Reign: The Golden Gryphon | Royal Road
Take care of yourself. It's okay to take a break when you need it.
I hope you have a swift and great recovery from your burnout.
doravg Wrote: I feel a severe case of burnout. I was warned it will happen, I did not listen. I used to do four chapters per day easily. Today I struggled to write three. Still, I need to finish my big project: The Apple Grotto Nymph. I have made peace with the fact that the second book will be the last, but I can't make peace with it being around 20 chapters long.Welcome to the burnout club. This is not an easy hole to get out of, just write what you can. Something is always better than nothing.
I need a breath of fresh air.
I need to rest.
And so, I turn to you all for said rest. I will need things to review for the next couple of months. You don't have to review back. Hopefully I will still be able to write a chapter per day if what I do on this site is reading, for the most part.
I look forward to your books.
Also, please feel free to check out my books :)
i'd be happy if you were to check them out some time
if they aren't your thing, don't feel pressured to review one
Twig could use the help most though, and it is pretty fun
good luck with the burnout eh, that's a feeling i know
by the way, i've been tempted to read apple grotto!
Feel free to stop reading and bleach your eyes whenever you want.
At least check out my blurb and see if you think you'll like my story. I am truly proud of the work I've done on it and I can't wait to get it professionally edited.
If you like gothic dark fantasy you may like my story. But mostly feel better, drink some tea, and relax!
Really appreciate it!
Anyway, here's my story, At The Precipice. A LitRPG, System Apocalypse type shtick. If it ain't your type of story don't stress about reading it. Also, may I suggest for your burnout, try writing a few chapters of another story, anything else. It helped for me, then I went back a week later and continued fine.
