Re: Promote your story – but by only describing your protagonist

Double Protagonist!

Initiate Alaric.
A glorified librarian adventurer.
He has a strong moral compass, is reasonable, and still somewhat naive. Loves knowledge in the extreme. Has trouble with social interaction, but he tries anyways. Ridiculously cowardly, or at least that's what his mentor says. Everyone else says his mentor just has a deathwish.

Lorekeeper Arundell.
Moral compass? More of a "according to the moss, this is North!" sense of morality. Has seen a few things over the years. Can be a crotchety asshole and lazy, but he shows genuine care for his friends and family. Not his fault that his view of "care" is VERY skewed. Apparently, telling your apprentice to slaughter a group of bandits is not good teaching. Who knew?
What does it matter that Alaric never killed someone, or if he is more of a librarian then a warrior?
Loves his traditions and his culture. Will gladly disguise himself as an orc to hear about their views on art, death, and social structure.

Galvin is a man who has succumbed to amnesia.  He has no recollection of who he was, so he usually states that he has been "alive" for two months.  During this time, he develops a carefree and unmotivating habit of indulgence through his reading and drinking.  He acts bitter towards others and has a sort of warped outlook on life.  However, on one certain day, his mentality and mindset is challenged when his ordinary life takes a drastic turn for the worst.  So for the time being, he's still a bitter and unlikeable fool, but he'll soon learn some harsh realities that could alter his outlook on life.
