Hi there, new to this thing, never been a member of a writing website before.
Not sue what I can say but hope to be able to post the first chapter of a book that I have written in a few days.
I am retired and live in the north of Canada!
Guess I'll have to add a profile!

Welcome,

Your customized introductory package includes:
  1. https://www.royalroad.com/account/signature has a new feature to auto-generate a signature for your fictions, it's based on Xian's detailed signature creation guide (https://www.royalroad.com/forums/thread/107061) just in case you want to do something more advanced in it by hand.  You'll need to run this after the fiction is up, and every time you change the covers/add a fiction.  Also, it's retroactive, so you don't have to go back and test over and over, just post one post with the signature enabled, and it will update automatically.
  2. There's a checkbox to display the signature.  You have to check it manually each time you post if you want to "sign" that post.
  3. Once you get a fiction going, there are still a few threads offering help with a free cover for any fictions that have been complaining that they don't like their current cover, or you feel like you'd like a second cover opinion, offering custom hand drawn work there are a couple of artists doing that: https://www.royalroad.com/forums/thread/109500 and https://www.royalroad.com/forums/thread/109466.  You can also ask in the Request Art forum, commission custom work to your specification. I do attempt free covers based on photo manipulation and compositing when I can find public domain source materials.
  4. One tired and re-tired, but still hanging in there  DrakanPotato  ℝ𝕖𝕡-𝕠𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕠™.
Happy (eventual) Writing!

Welcome to Royal Road. Be sure to read through the FAQ's under Support to learn more about the site. Being active in the Forums and commenting on stories you read are the best ways to interact with the community. Sounds like you book is complete. Gives you a lot of freedom in terms of posting frequency. However, you don't want to dump your entire work at once. If you want to try and jumpstart introducing it to readers, you can post a chapter a day for a week or so then drop back to a more comfortable rate (2 or 3 times a week). Hope you enjoy your writing experience here and that your work attracts many readers. Good luck.
